I have a quick question today. When inflated, both cylinders feel smooth from bottom to top. When deflated though the right cylinder appears bent with a crease, like a bent plastic straw, about one inch up from the base of my penis.
The area is a bit sore there but perhaps because I've been pushing it in expecting the crease to go away. I have stopped doing that now as I suspect the crease is permanent. Again, when hard, everything is good so I am not complaining.
My question though is how typical is this? Does everyone have a crease in one or more cylinders when deflated?
Thanks in advance for all suggestions and comments!

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
I have same problem with my right cylinder also.
At 7 months post implant, it is not improving and I think it is permanent.

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
The CX is a bit stiffer when deflated than my LGX, so my creases and wrinkles are a bit less than yours and never were painful. The Coloplast Titan's material is stiffer and Titan wearers (or does the Titan wear the owner's penis?) experience the wrinkles ("dog ears", some people call them) even more than AMS wearers.
One solution is to stay partially inflated, if concealability/comfort is not compromised.
Or, you could wait until the material is broken in a bit more. Things soften up during the first several months, though I see you are almost at the 120 day point. Have you seen any improvement over that time?
I always wonder if the "wrinkle points" will eventually be a failure point. I have no data on that speculation, so don't be too worried about that. The service life of the implants is pretty good and getting a replacement is usually easier (by most reports I have read). In any event, I would not be concerned, but not toy with it overmuch, either.
I hope more informed responders, especially those with CX models like yours will chime in.

Hey Sheep, when you are flaccid can you palpate anything abnormal? You could pump and palpate, pump and palpate, pump and palpate, feeling for abnormalities. Do you have photos you could share, flaccid and erect, of the area in question?

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
I have creases on both cylinders all the time when deflated in the same areas as you. With the Titan, they seem to be much more pronounced than they should be and, yes, that area of my penis does offer some pain when I try to move it for any reason. All go away when inflated.

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
If the crease is truly in your cylinders that's a good thing. It actually means that you've been size correctly and that your penis is going to be stretched. Eventually the buckling should go away as soon as you get longer. In my case I thought the bump on my left side was a buckled left cylinder. It turned out to be the tubing going into cylinder. That's not going away anytime soon

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
Now I'm starting to wonder if my bump could be a cylinder kink?
It's no big deal, but I don't like it. It's not painful or uncomfortable though.

Visual appearance, even at close examination, reveals nothing any different from my penis before implant except that flaccid is about double what I was before (I was a "grower"). But my flaccid is now comparable to other men I have seen.
Palpating the flaccid penis is another story. When completely deflated, I can feel soft plastic wrinkles and it is obvious to me that I have material in there. I can also detect the hard plastic tips in my glans. I am not sure if I can feel the rear tips through my perineum. It might be my bones
Partially pumped, my penis feels quite natural, all the way up to 80% pumped when I notice that my cross-section is not as round (circular) as it used to be when erect. It is obvious that I have two cylinders in me as my cross-section is definitely oval. Girth is 5" but the width is clearly greater than the depth. I don't have the measurements right now, but will update this post in a few days.
Between 80% and 100% the shape changes little and there is little expansion but rigidity, especially at the base, increases.
The above are as observed without sexual arousal.
As arousal occurs, my cross-section fills out as the corpus spongiosum tumesces (Is that a proper verb?), but not as full and round as my natural erection did in the past.

Sheep;
We have the same implant except that yours is a little bigger. I too can feel the tips but, that's because the glands are so soft and spongy. When I had my 18 cm implant (the first one) I could feel the tips in my perineum, it was a little bit uncomfortable but I think I would have grown into them as my measurements have dramatically changed as can be seen on my before and after pics. When erect, I seem to be wider than deeper and I can feel what feels like a funnel at the base of my penis. Not sure what this is but nothing I am describing to you is bothersome. I suspect that we can feel something unnatural because it is. Nobody I talked to ever claimed that the implant was as natural as the real deal but I think we all can agree that it does exactly what it promises to do. I love my implant and the two doctors I had (urology and plastic surgery) saved my marriage (I suspect anyway) and my mental health. I was very depressed. I cannot praise them enough. Now that I have had my telephone interview with Kramer, Eid, Perito and Brock, I can tell you, without hesitation, that I would go to three of them in a heartbeat and have no problem recommending those three. I will keep my opinion of the fourth to private messages because that is the professional thing to do, especially when everything I say is representative of Frank Talk.

Larry, clearly you are knowledgeable and offer great insight to many of us here on the board who are new and/or freaking out about the results of our implants. Your advise to me on using the VED to help with my glans is working.
Having said that, can you PM me with who are the three you would go to; OR the one who you would NOT go to and why (just in case I have too get a revision here)?
Thanks!
FYI - How the heck do you PM someone on here?
