Dr. Gerald Brock of London Health Sciences is fantastic.

This fine surgeon is not only a high implant surgeon of both Titan and AMS but is has won over 25 awards and been published in the medical journals more than 200 times. He is an International Urology Professor and is really great at his craft. He is the only doctor that I have even known who will criticize the incompetent work of another surgeon and in my case 2 incompetent surgeons.

I do NOT recommend either implant surgeon I contacted at Virginia Urology to perform ANY implant procedure. Nor do I recommend the Virginia Urology Ambulatory Surgical/ Surgery Center (ASC) in Stony Point, Virginia (Richmond) for any urological procedure. My reasons have been chronicled on FT and I stick with them. No amount of questions to either of my surgeons (Dr. Jason Szobota; Dr. Joseph Ellen, III) was answered with anything other than THEIR interest in mind. You may read some glowing reports on FT that describe the very patient-centric and compassionate surgeons during the many phases of investigation, examination, testing, pre-op, post-op, expectation management. I had absolutely NONE of that. And, when I spoke to the Virginia Urology CEO (Ms. Brigette A. Booth) via phone conversations and email on many occasions, her only retort was a huge mea culpa to assure me that what horrific experience I had that hellish day on November 18th last year would never happen again! BFD!! And to plus things up, when the CEO reached out and asked the Coloplast OR rep (Ms. Berkley Mudrick) to contact me to answer my product questions that the surgeon had no clue about, Mudrick effectively thumbed her nose at the CEO and did NOT contact me. I am totally down on just about EVERY aspect of my implantation procedure and, if given a do-over would NOT have had it in the first place!

Implant patients in SE Virginia.....BEWARE!!!

navy6587, how many doctors can you fire? Answer: How many are there? An education does not equate a smart man nor a compassionate one, though some are. The dumbest party school M.D. is still a doctor. A suggestion when looking for a doctor besides reviews. Two doctors I've found to be fabulous physicians were engineers before they went to medical school. One was a mechanical engineer (well known here) and another was a chemical engineer. Both are top notch.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
