I can just agree with danny1553
I get the same answer from my wife and previous other woman also

Then I asked - does thickness matter? let's focus on hardness

I partially agree. Although size matters to a certain extent, it isnt a show stopper for most women. Performance and personality are more important. However compatiblity of size can make the sex better. For example, I'm sure most guys feel more if a woman is tight than loose.

Of course hardness is esstenial. Without it, a womn can't be penetrated and no intercourse takes place.

The problem though that everybody by the rational part of his mind understands that size (at least in terms of length) doesn't matter too much... but wild animal instincts sneakily whisper Longus penis basis vitae est!

Let say if you have a big one, size is matter.
If you have a small one, size doesn’t matter. :) :) :)
I am living now in a part of the world that man have obsession to big penis (because average is small) and are doing different things and spend a lot of money, sometime stupid and dangerous to have bigger one.

I think there has been too much attention paid to the term "well endowed." I think we should pay more ttention to "best endowed." I consider myself to be in the low end of average. Yet my wife of over 40 years has never complained. In my opinion, if you are compassionate, loving pertners, you will adapt to each other's size. The best size is your size.

Just an update on my further conversation with my wife.
Since I can keep my dick semi-rigid with an aid of the constriction ring my wife can get satisfaction (though at the cost of the lack of my satisfaction but that's a different matter). So I asked - "would you like it if my dick became shorter but much harder?"
Her first reaction was - "how much shorter?" LOL, so much for the size doesn't matter statement
I said, that in the worst case scenario I can lose up to 2" (5cm). So basically from my current 17cm I would be down to 12cm :o but as hard as wood

That quizzed her a lot... She just replied - "let me think about that" :? ...

Once I get some meaningful answer what is better - short but hard; or semi-hard but long I'll post an update

Can I ask, has your wife had other partners? I think a lot of women are curious about sex with other men who are larger. The women I asked told me that thickness is whats important because that has a bearing on how well they feel the guy. I agree. I think whats the real important thing is to get a good match in partners. When I used to date, some women I had sex with were very loose. I couldnt feel much and Im sure she didnt either. Other women I had to use extra KY gel to penetrate becaue they were very tight. SO maybe size depends on both partners. A woman who has a large vagina will need a man who is thicker. My wife told me that her extra was much longer than me but not as thick, and that she feels me better.

Size can also depend on the positions used. Again, length seems not to be that important. Women have said that too long isnt good. Someplace i read that a woman only has feeling in the first 4" of her vagina so any longer isnt that useful.

No, my wife hadn't had vaginal sex with other partners so I guess she doesn't have too much to compare with 8-)
The thing seems to be important is likely related to the "prestige" than the actual satisfaction.
Though one important aspect of the length is the ability to keep the penis inside the vagina. When the dick is longer it is much easier to keep fraction even with not-so-hard erection. I remember when I was shorter (about 14cm) I often had a problem to get back in if I happened to slip out of the vagina. Now at 17cm this seldom happens so I easily keep my dick inside for the duration of the intercourse.
Other factor that probably matters is the body fat. Both me and my wife are slim but I have always been puzzled how overweight people manage to have sex. The extra "layers" technically make the usable size of the penis shorter while the actual pleasure zone of the vagina located farther from the entry. :?

Danny

First of all 14 cm isnt small . Thats 5 1/2" About average. Im 5 1'2" and i have no trouble staying in a woman or satisfying them. With Trimix Im always very hard.

I agree with you about heavy people. I once had sex with a large woman and the only position we could do was doggie. No way could I get on her and penetrate or her on top.

My wife and I are slender and so has been most of my partners. With my wife I can get all of my penis in her in any position. Also some men have fat on their lower pelvic area right above the penis. This makes their penis look shorter and also not stand straight out.

Like your wife, my first wife was a virgin when I met her. After we divorced and she started to date, she told me she was suprise how different the other men's penis were from mine. Size and shape. I also heard from some divorced women who never had much experience that they found men they dated who had larger penis more pleasing. Again I think this is mental like men who prefer larger breasts. Like women who prefer circumsized. I once read in a woimans magazine that only 20% of women got aroused seeing an erect penis but 37% did seeing a flaccid one. Interesting I would like to hear more women's views on this subject
