I placed this issue here at this forum because it is the most active and because I do intend to get an implant.
What is stopping me is that i suffered an injury to the head of my penis from an injection. I bled from a pin hole in the head. It has left me with a small area where the skin seems thinner and it becomes dark after i use a VED.
I googled the top 10 urology programs and wrote to them.So far only one responded. and no answer yet. I cannot fly around the country for an examination. So far, they only look at it ! I sent photos of the initial injury and my current state. Every doctor is mystified by this including Kramer. I fear going forward without knowing what condition my penis head is in.
What would you do to find out what caused this condition?

Where to go to obtain clarification of an unusual problem?

I have no suggestions other than talking to your urologist. I think I recall your original post describing the problem. It's hard for me to imagine how a normal injection could cause the symptom you describe. What does your local doctor say? Have you asked him who to see to delve further into the problem? Perhaps a referral.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I did some testing for a possible "allergic" reaction to a component in Tri-Mix. ON my 2nd or 3rd injection - properly on the shaft - I got a tremendous raised red swollen area. Long story short, in the course of the testing I injected some of the components and the mix, just below the skin on the forearm. It raised a good red welt that turned into a bruise. None of the components caused a problem when injected well into the corpus cavernosa. I discussed it with the allergist. We kinda concluded that I got some TriMix outside the corpus cavernosa (not deep enough) and caused some tissue hemorrhage. Apparently the components are designed to to cause blood flow and vaso-dilation or, in a word, hemorrhage. Within vascular tissue like the corpus cavernosa it works to dilate tissue and infuse blood. In other tissue like under the skin (epidermis) it just causes chemical hemorrhage to small veins and capillaries. I've never studied a cross section of the head but I suspect there is vascular tissue and non vascular tissue. Get Tri-Mix into non-vascular tissue and it will cause some bruising and possibly tissue damage maybe? My arm bruises healed in several weeks as the bruise faded but that may be more durable tissue. I have no idea how tender and sensitive the head tissue is to vaso-dialators.This is just a theory here. I'd sure check in with a really experienced Uro to assess the situation.
