How much does it grow when you inflate it?

I just came out of surgery two days ago and was wondering how much the penis grows in length when you inflate it. Thank you. I’m currently almost all deflated.

Impossible to even GUESS at an answer without knowing the manufacturer and model of implant.

Also, what was your (erect) length and girth in your prime and just before surgery (with as good an erection as you could muster just before surgery).

Don’t know what was my girth, but my length was 6.25. I got a titan 22 cms.

If your surgeon measured you properly, you should be 6.25 after implant when fully inflated.

It may take a bit of time to reach your pre-surgery length. In various studies, the surgical technique has an influence on this and the post-op inflation protocol has a major influence on this. Early activation/cycling of the implant has a great effect on size retention, but the discomfort involved limits many patients' ability to follow the protocols.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW YOUR SURGEON'S INSTRUCTIONS!!! What was found during the surgery, the type and techniques of wound closure and your healing characteristics will determine how soon it is safe to do anything. The last thing you want to do is tear something open!!! As your surgeon before you do anything on your own.

Early and aggressive cycling helps with size, but is sometimes critically contraindicated by conditions found during the surgery. Talk to your surgeon about your concerns and be absolutely certain you understand each other.

Scar tissue encapsulation can limit size recovery and make the process of regaining size take longer.

The Titan is reputed to be pretty much full length (whether inflated or deflated) from the day after surgery going forward (unlike the LGX which shortens up to 20% when deflated). Titan's big advantage over the LGX or CX is its girth and the native stiffness of the material of which it is made. The AMS devices are essentially cloth covered with surgical grade silicone. The Titan is a flexible, harder sort of plastic material (what it actually is, is a secret) Coloplast calls "Bioflex". In some cases, , I have heard that the Titan can shorten by taking accordion-like folds, but a Titan man will have to confirm that. Uninflated, it is stiffer than the AMS dacron cloth based tubes. Inflated, it is said to be stiffer as well, but the AMS tubes are unbendable at any pressure you could tolerate in normal sexual activities.

I will go on to speculate that if you are not at least 6" after your swelling goes down, you were either undersized during the surgery (in which case you may want to investigate getting that corrected in any way available to you) OR you will regain your original size by cycling the implant over the next few weeks or several months. This speculation is not from personal experience, but from reading the accounts of many men here on FrankTalk. Just spend your recuperating time reading the past couple of years of posts.

As for my own experience, my surgeon left my AMS LGX inflated at 80% post-op but reduced that to about 70-75% when I complained that it felt like my penis was being crushed in a vice. The feeling was constant and distracting, so he deflated just a little. By the time my swelling went down two weeks later and I was allowed to start cycling the implant my size was identical to me immediately pre-op (erect) length. Maybe a bit short of my best length 30 years prior, but I did not take particularly careful measurements back then.

Just ball parking it - I believe I read where 1/3 of the implant will be inside (but everyone is different) leaving 2/3 to represent your length. 66% of your 22 cm will give you 14.5cm. Add to that the part of your glans that is unsupported at maybe 1.5cm (just guessing). That would be 16cm. Convert that to inches and that gives 6.3". That's all guess work and assumptions and obviously won't be correct but it should tell enough for you not to fret. You should be fine when all healed up and broken in. Bear in mind I don't have an implant and I don't know squat. I suck at math too.

Mine gets hard as a rock, but expands very little if at all. As others have said, everybody's different. You'll know your final outcome in a few months.

I got 19 cm titan. 5.5 flaccid laying down on my sac. 6.25 when pumped up and ready to go.

So it goes up about 3/4 of an inch.

Mine is 5in flaccid and a hair over 6in erect. I have an AMS 700cx, 21cm. I am 3.5 mo. out and started off at 5.5 erect. After surgery I was pumped at 50% and measured 5in.

I think that based on FT members’ stories it is fair to say that a properly installed Titan with correct size chosen by the surgeon, is longer inflated than flaccid. Mine too.
I am about 15-15.5 cm (6 inch) flaccid and about 17.5 cm (6.9 inch) inflated.
Before surgery I was 10 cm (3.9 inch) flaccid and 16-16.5 cm (6.4 inch) erect.
Right after surgery I was about 15.5 cm (6.1 inch) inflated.
So a Titan will (or at least can) increase length with cycling as well. Or at least the dick can. And I didn’t even inflate as often and for as long time as many others do during the first year after surgery.
