Hi
It has been well documented that elevated use of antibiotics are required with invasive dental procedures around the time of the implant operation.
Is anyone aware of the on-going infection risks for implants with invasive dental procedures at periods of time when the implant is successfully established?
Cheers

Risks of invasive dental procedures 12 months after implant installation?
Born 1958, ED issues following prostatectomy in 2009 for PCa. Used Cialis and prostaglandin but ultimately unworkable. Implanted 2/6/2018, 20cm Titan no RTE
Re: Risks of invasive dental procedures 12 months after implant installation?
I have had several surgeries since getting an implant. I ask prior to each as well as have asked Dr. Kramer. The answer given to me is the surgical risk with an implanted device mainly is associated with heart valves (metal) and replacement joints. I have also been told it no-longer applies to many newer type joint replacements. I've had no issues myself. Having surgery again Aug. 9th. I will ask about it again then.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
