Has anyone experienced this: blood in semen?
I'm 42 years old and I recently had this unpleasant experience: brownish disgusting semen everytime I ejaculated.
I freaked out and I immediately consulted a urologist who told me that it was perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. He didn't even prescribe any medication.
Here's what I did: lots of masturbation to get rif of that crap. And it worked!
I haven't had any sexual experience (incl. masturbation) in a long time, sex is not that important to me anymore. Could that be the explanation for the brown/red semen?

When I’m not sure I can trust my MD’s advice I seek a second opinion from another specialist MD.
But lots of masturbation is a great treatment for LOTS of things. (At least that’s what I tell myself). LOL!

Re: Blood in semen
I had the same issue of blood in the semen when I asked my doctor about it he said don’t worry about it it’s fairly common. Sometimes little blood vessels rupture. He ran some tests to be sure and basically said if it doesn’t clear up come back and we’ll do more test.
I did clear up as like you I jerked off a lot to “clear” the pipes.
I’m not a doctor just another guy here on the forum. I do believe in the second opinion if I’m either unsure or the situation doesn’t get better. Normally the second unless it’s surgery then I almost always want a second opinion

A web search on the phrase "dark semen" brings up a multitude of links to medical web sites. I recommend reading the legitimate ones.

Re: Blood in semen
It is just some temporary urinary irritation or infection. Could be STD too buoy would not go away. Glad it cleared up.
