I'll try and help. Below is your last post as I think you intended:

I am still learning the boards. I am not sure how to do quotes.
Lost Sheep wrote: So, will he prescribe, say, a half-dozen doses of Cialis or Levitra for you to try? Sometimes pharmacy reps give out samples for Doctors to let their patients try.
He says no. He says that "they all do the same thing. and if one fails then the others wouldn't work."
Lost Sheep wrote:A doppler ultrasound should indicate if there are problems with arterial flow in or venous flow out of your erectile tissues. Is there a reason he has not investigated this?
He says "To answer your questions, no, there would be no need for a penile ultrasound to confirm blood flow issues if your testosterone is normal. This is both because the decreased arterial flow is such a common causes of erectile dysfunction and because documenting that would not change management."
Lost Sheep wrote:Unless your doctor suspects another cause than damage (due to Diabetes or atherosclerosis or whatever), I am inclined to think you have physical damage to your erectile function
The doctor believes that poor diabetes management is the cause of my ED. I am diabetic.

I'll give it a try an explanation:
So, you look at the upper right of the post you want to quote from. You'll see one quotation mark. Click it. It will open a reply window with the whole post quoted in it. If you want the whole post quoted then just enter your text below it. I find it annoying when a whole long post is unnecessarily quoted so please don't. If you look at the text that appeared when you clicked the quotation mark you will see a small example of what's called (I think) BB Code as in Bulletin Board Code. Not all available code is activated on every forum but that's irrelevant. The code in question here is the quotation code. You type "quote" at the beginning of a quotation and type "/quote" at the end, except the quote marks I just typed would be replaced with brackets on each side such as "]" (minus the quote marks). To attribute the quote to a poster you add equal marks and the poster in question's name inside quote marks with no spaces. This is inside the previously mentioned brackets. For example for Lost Sheep you would type: quote="Lost Sheep" . Of course that would be inside the previously mentioned brackets. And you must still end the quotation with the /quote (forward slash quote) inside brackets. For example (with brackets missing) quote="Lost Sheep" Hello World /quote . Add the brackets and you have:
Lost Sheep wrote: Hello World
But back to quoting a post. Like I said, if you want to quote the whole post just type your follow up post below the text that appeared when you clicked the quotation mark. Or alternatively you can delete part of the quoted text so that you are just quoting part of the post, as long as you leave the beginning and end quote and /quote code inside the brackets. If you want to do as the example I made with your post you can just add the end quote and start quote code as you please. Just remember, every quote most be completed at some point with the end quote code.
I hope that at least made partial sense.
