I'll try and help. Below is your last post as I think you intended:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am still learning the boards. I am not sure how to do quotes.

Lost Sheep wrote: So, will he prescribe, say, a half-dozen doses of Cialis or Levitra for you to try? Sometimes pharmacy reps give out samples for Doctors to let their patients try.

He says no. He says that "they all do the same thing. and if one fails then the others wouldn't work."

Lost Sheep wrote:A doppler ultrasound should indicate if there are problems with arterial flow in or venous flow out of your erectile tissues. Is there a reason he has not investigated this?

He says "To answer your questions, no, there would be no need for a penile ultrasound to confirm blood flow issues if your testosterone is normal. This is both because the decreased arterial flow is such a common causes of erectile dysfunction and because documenting that would not change management."

Lost Sheep wrote:Unless your doctor suspects another cause than damage (due to Diabetes or atherosclerosis or whatever), I am inclined to think you have physical damage to your erectile function

The doctor believes that poor diabetes management is the cause of my ED. I am diabetic.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll give it a try an explanation:
So, you look at the upper right of the post you want to quote from. You'll see one quotation mark. Click it. It will open a reply window with the whole post quoted in it. If you want the whole post quoted then just enter your text below it. I find it annoying when a whole long post is unnecessarily quoted so please don't. If you look at the text that appeared when you clicked the quotation mark you will see a small example of what's called (I think) BB Code as in Bulletin Board Code. Not all available code is activated on every forum but that's irrelevant. The code in question here is the quotation code. You type "quote" at the beginning of a quotation and type "/quote" at the end, except the quote marks I just typed would be replaced with brackets on each side such as "]" (minus the quote marks). To attribute the quote to a poster you add equal marks and the poster in question's name inside quote marks with no spaces. This is inside the previously mentioned brackets. For example for Lost Sheep you would type: quote="Lost Sheep" . Of course that would be inside the previously mentioned brackets. And you must still end the quotation with the /quote (forward slash quote) inside brackets. For example (with brackets missing) quote="Lost Sheep" Hello World /quote . Add the brackets and you have:
Lost Sheep wrote: Hello World

But back to quoting a post. Like I said, if you want to quote the whole post just type your follow up post below the text that appeared when you clicked the quotation mark. Or alternatively you can delete part of the quoted text so that you are just quoting part of the post, as long as you leave the beginning and end quote and /quote code inside the brackets. If you want to do as the example I made with your post you can just add the end quote and start quote code as you please. Just remember, every quote most be completed at some point with the end quote code.

I hope that at least made partial sense.

Change your doctor immediately and try to get on cialis daily and on-demand sildenafil.

Works better.

I am right now in a forum where people experimented with very high doses of combined Pde5i and achieved results comparable to low dose injections (10ug).

No medical advice!

Diabetes affects your dick in several ways:

High levels of blood glucose over time leaves plaque in you arteries which reduces blood flow.

It causes Peripheral neuropathy which reduces sensitivity in your dick

It also causes autonomic neuropathy which reduces involuntary bodily function, including your sexual response.

You are most likely suffering from the above, but there is always a chance that one of the ED pills will be more effective than another. In my case, none of them work.

In the beginning. A neoprene cock ring worked well. Even a doubled over 1/2 inch wide well lubed rubber band placed around my whole unit (behind the balls) worked well .

However, as I mentioned previously, the long term effects of high blood glucose was too much to be off set by rings, pills, and injections.

A Penis Tension Band is something that I have considered. One of the main problems that I am having is that my erection may be enough
for vaginal penetration and simple fixes like bands and oral medications may fix it. However my doctor is just positive that it's diabetic
nerve damage he won't suggest anything other than ejection therapy. Like I have said before, he refuses to do a penile ultrasound to
confirm any leakage or blood flow issues.

Right now, I am considering waiting until I have a partner to see what works and then go from there.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind so take my anonymous internet forum advice for what it's worth. Always ask your doctor.

That said, I see no reason not to try some "penis tension bands", constriction rings, novelty cock rings, etc. They work great for me. For use with a VED I use a tight medical grade constriction ring but it doesn't sound like your dick is a broke as mine. Otherwise I use novelty sex shop type cock rings with injections. The options are diverse. Expect to throw some away until you find what works for you.

Oh heck no. Get it all figured out now while you don't have the pressure of pleasing a partner or the fear of failing to be able to perform. You can then be confident in what ever method you've found works best for you.

Absolutely not!

PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis) are not the only oral treatments for ED. Oral phentolamine mesylate (brand names Vigamed, Vasomax) and sublingual apomorphine hydrochloride (brand names Uprima, Zyprima) are also extremely effective and they work in entirely different ways: the former is an alpha blocker and the latter is a dopamine agonist, whereas Viagra only increases NO levels.

I have tried both these treatments and they were excellent. There are several studies that show their safety and efficacy. Everyone is different and reactions may vary, though.

I vote for not waiting until after treatment to get a partner. Get one now.

I posted on a dating site that I was impotent and looking for a kind woman to accompany me on my journey from impotence to the functionality of an implant. Kind of a lab partner.

I got a lot of support...and a few volunteers. They respected my candor.

Women are incredibly supportive if they feel trusted, respected and safe. Don't waste a day of a potential relationship just because sex may be delayed for a while. Besides, the "lab work" (even while flaccid) can be quite a lot of fun.

If she knows going in that you cannot have coital sex, there is no pressure to "perform". Of course, it helps if you are willing to learn cunnilingus or other ways of pleasing her.

Lost Sheep, if I could get one now I would, trust me. The list off issues I have is long. It's been a hard road.
On dating sites at the moment.

Waiting a month now for the next doctor visit. Had low T scores of 241 and 216. Will probably end up on injections if I can afford them. If not, well I
don't want to think about it.

bldoink's instructions are totally accurate. Here is another way to describe how to create your own quotes. (you can copy-paste text from anywhere, not just from FrankTalk. If you see an article on another site or transcribe something into a word processor. Just be careful about copyright infringement. "Fair Use" is OK, but copying an entire work is a bit too much.

To make a quote, type this: (Without the spaces. Put the name of the source you are quoting where I put xxxx. Do use the quotes. They are important to the display.)

[ q u o t e = " xxxxx "]

insert the text you want to quote here

[/quote]

You should see a row of icons above the window where you compose your post. The fourth one should say "Quote". It will put whatever you type inside the demarcations (the start and end points) into a quotation block/window, but without the source being named.

The same row of icons can create boldfacing, underlining, coloring and font size. Also insertion of images and web sites, but I am not facile with those functions.

There is a sometimes bewildering array of choices of cock rings and restriction rings. You will have to throw some cash away before you find which work best for you .For cock rings I have had great success with https://perfectfitbrand.com/xact-fit.html
I am mildly amused by the fact they start with medium not small. You can start with the mixed set which has the smallest size in each of the 3 sets. The sizing chart is fairly accurate. I went straight to the "medium" set and it has worked well for me.

I use Osbon restriction rings with a medical grade pump. On occasion I will add one of the above rings around my balls and dick.

You should experiment on your own and see what may work for you.
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.
