Hmmm, wonder why docs prefer ams 700 lgx pre connected rigs.

I’m going to try this route end year, lack of pump and tubes is my reasoning also

This is my concern too. I have a Titan and strong hands. I inflate until the bulb gets hard to squeeze. I am unsure of when to stop pumping as I don't want to break anything.

You don't have to worry about overpumping, my understanding is. It's like an old-fashioned bicycle pump: You just keep pumping until you can't pump anymore, and then you stop. (It will not explode!) :D

He said if the tubing from the cylinders was ruptured he could replace my cylinders or just splice the cylinder tubing with quick links. He also gave me the option of going back with the newer Genesis bulb pump or that he could replace it with the One Touch (which he said was known to stick sometime). I think I’m going back with the Genesis, but I hope my previous bulb pump was a lemon & that these devices don’t fail every 1-3 years. I’m 34 so replacing frequently seems like a nightmare. Here we go again lol

Godspeed Roofer, I hope you get 20 years out of this one. I should find out today about mine.

First all I am sorry you have to go through all that again.

I am scheduled for Oct but my Doc said he will use the Titan but he uses an older style pump because he says it works better. He also stated if he could create the best setup it would be the AMS pump system with the Titan. Does this make sense? I am so new to all these Models/Brands/Types...I am going to research more for sure.

Nothing happens eventually you run out fluid in the reservoir and the pump becomes sucked in

Dr. Sedaghi prefers the old style Titan pumps. Fewer problems and easier to use.

I hate the thought but it is just one of those things. Like paying 80 grand for a super duty diesel and having to have it towed home after owning it for a few weeks. Some electronic thing died. Nothing worked period.

Not looking forward to pumping and nothing happening but not going to worry about it. If it breaks I figure it can probably be fixed and I am never going back to my pre implant ed days unless the doc just says it is not fixable. Even then the down side to trying would have to be cutting this thing off for good and 100 percent probability of having that happen if he tried to fix it.

If its mechanical it is going to break. Period. Just when.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
