I've been prescribed Trimix for about 4 months now. I assumed I would be proficient at injections after practice. Unfortunately It is not a consistent process. Sometimes the needle goes in smooth and dispenses evenly. The result is a good erection at .15 to .2 ML
However many times the needle doesn't even want to go in. When I had finally have inserted the plunger is realty difficult to get going. This creates anxiety for me the results is a blood injection site and soreness. I use a standard 5/16 needle 31 gauge, my penis is rather thick abut 6 1/2 inches in circumference . I wonder sometimes if the trimix gets into the corpus cavernosum.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
I sure would like to be more proficient at this

Re: Inconsistent with my injections
Given your girth, I would have thought 30g 1/2 inch syringes would be needed. When I was using injections I started using 5/16 syringes but found 1/2 inch much more reliable to ensure the needle was in the cavernosa. My girth is about an inch less than you. My other advice would be to insert the needle positevly and quickly rather than slowly. Practice makes perfect.
80 year old Type2 diabetic, long term ED, pills then injections PGE1. After 4 years they became less effective. Implanted 20/3/2018 by NHS. AMS 700 CX 15+4 cm with MS pump. Never had any significant pain. Still working perfectly and used regularly.

I’m a slow injector it makes a dimple before finally going in and I bottom the needle. If it’s hard to inject back out a bit it will then inject easy. I too have half inch needle. I just can’t get myself to jab quick.

For once, not being well-endowed is a blessing. Being small (at least prior to injecting) with the 5/16", 31 gauge, my experiences have been excellent with Trimix. I have used the first Rx of 5ml, and am starting the second vial. I pre-load all the syringes with my 15 unit (0.15 ml) and put them in the freezer. Thawing is quick, so when we're in the mood, I take one out and in a few minutes I am very hard (not firm, hard). I have had one "misfire" when I must have shot into a blood vessel and it all went into my bloodstream (no erection). Sometimes the plunger is difficult to depress, I think it may be the quality of syringe (got mine on Amazon - twenty for $8).

Ansley,
I sent you a PM. Look in the upper right of your page.
I also copied part of the "Documents Worth Reading List" (https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9266) found in the "General" sub-forum. It contains a couple of links to videos worth seeing. The doctor doing the videos seems a bit strange but the information is good:
