12 days post opp

Postby Black57 » Sun Oct 06, 2019 2:46 pm

12 days post opp tried to inflate but still to painful. Still have bruising and thick leathery feeling skin in my scrotum, may have caused a little more bruising and swelling trying to inflate. My doctor left me deflated after surgery and said I could try cycling at around the 2 week point but I don't think I will be able to. Is this normal has anyone else had this issue ? I watch training videos and pumping and deflating looks simple, my scrotum feels like it is full and thick its very hard to even find the deflate button on the AMS MS pump, very discouraging. Maybe I shouldn't be so concerned about being left deflated my doctor said he does not believe in leaving the implant inflated post opp, will that be an issue if I am not able to start cycling until 3 to 4 weeks. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks.

If your doctor allows - and make sure you check so you don't worry about infection - get into a tub of hot water, as hot as you can handle. This will loosen the scrotal skin, thin it out some, and loosen all the stuff inside, as well. Finding the deflate button and everything else becomes much easier. Warmth also makes the pump bulb easier to depress.

I have the same issue with the skin feeling thick, and I often stretch it out with my fingers while in the hot tub.

If your doctor doesn't want you to get into a tub yet, try using a heating pad or a really hot shower.

Good luck.

If you can not get in the water, sit on a heating pad.

I didn't have any real pain during recovery but my boys have always been very sensitive and they were not up to being squeezed until week 5. I too feel something fleshy between my release value and my sack. It still doesn't want to be squeezed. I move things around and all is good. My cock doc isn't a high volume Dr, but he does perform over 100 implants per year. He sent me home partially inflated and said not to take a bath until after two weeks to minimize the risk of infection.
