Guys with diabetes, ever have a burning sensation in the glans

Postby Thefarmer » Fri Oct 18, 2019 7:44 pm

I have had two episodes of a burning sensation in the glans of my penis. Today, it has burned all day long and got so bad, I actually dipped dick in a cup of iced water. This didn't help much but Im wondering what is causing the burning sensation. I have not been exposed to any kind of sexually transmitted disease and the only thing I can think of is that I was pronounced as pre diabetic about a year ago. Not sure if I have full blown diabetes or what.. but this burning is driving me crazy!
Age 71, diagnosed with prostate cancer 5 years ago. Had surgery and radiation to kill cancer cells. Have had problems with ED ever since. Pills worked ok for a while, Pumped but did not like the" choke hold" of the bands.. Trimix is great!

Sounds like a bladder infection. Yes guys get them especially diabetes. I’m diabetic and have had them. Untreated they will burn all the time not just when you pee. Get to a doc and get antibiotic.

It could be diabetic nerve pain. I've had it in almost all my extremities. Including my penis. Ranges from dull ache to sharp burning sensation ( like a match head put out on skin)

I've never had a bladder infection. Though i know that it happens. Especially with meds that cause you to pass sugars through your urine.
Age: 39, Diabetic (well controlled) HBP (since teens, less well controlled, but ok),
mild ED for 3 years, l arginine l citrulline and norvaline (amino acid stack) helped.
Pills: ineffective. Started trimix: 6/24/18, EXTREMELY effective.

Yep, sounds like a UTI - urinary tract infection--maybe in the bladder, but it could be anywhere along the pipeline. My experience with/research into Diabetic Neuropathy is that it occurs most often in the lower legs and feet. It feels much like the tingling when your arm or leg "goes to sleep" and then starts waking up. The difference is that it feels like a million tiny hot needles are poking you. The standard treatment is a pharma regimen that beings with Gabapentin. I do not discount the possibility of neuropathy in the penis, but I'd think it's pretty rare.

In any case, go to the doctor. Do not pass Go; do not collect $200. UTI treatment is NOT something to postpone, esp for anyone with diabetes. Best wishes; keep us posted if you don't mind.

I have had this experienced this while using a Trimix about 1/2 doz times. It was like my cocky was on fire. I actually dipped my cock in a cup o& ice water as well trying to get relief. Used ice packs for about three hours finally went away.

Thanks Notaes for brining that up about the trimix. I never had this experience prior to using trimix. Pretty much all drugs have some side effects and this may be one from trimix that affects some and not others. I just hope it doesn't continue or get worse. I would surely hate to give up my trimix.. its been a good fit for me!

I have been an insulin dependent iabetic for over 25 years and used Trimix for over three years and never experienced a burning sensation on my glans as a result of either. However, I once had a burning sensation for a week or so as a result of a reaction from oral sex.
