According to my Doctor it's not the pump that is the issue it's the tubing that's cracking. According to him he said that the company that supplies the tubing for Coloplast also supplies tubing for AMS. Any replays is appreciated

Dear Scared,

In a nutshell, I had my implant 2 years ago and it gave me my life back. Was it easy? hell, no. The first 3 months were like a taste of hell with regrets all the time. Once, it is all settled, I'm a very happy person. It is not only about sex, it gave me confidence and self-esteem like there is no tomorrow.l

Life is about taking risks. If you don't take a risk, then there will be no gain or taste. Do yourself a favor please and take the plunge.Life is too short, don't look back.

Feel free to PM me and we can talk over the phone if you like.

Matt

Ask questions, research, arm yourself with info.
As Medhatg said, there are risks in life, and you just have to go with the flow.
Forgot where on FT I read it, but I think it was Dr. Eid who said he was going to use the AMS because of the antibiotic coating on it, etc. Well, for me, that did not work because my ball sack is stuck to the pump, and Dr. Kramer said there was only one way to find out, and that is going in with surgery, but he does not think so. Dr. Kramer said pump was moving around....I think he thinking of some other movement because pump does not move like your balls (you know you can tap your balls or move it around your sack?).
What you read on here is just a drop in the bucket...the good and the bad, so don't let the bad discourage you.
My ID, Lucky 3%, was chosen because, upon further research on the AMS I got implanted, 3% get infected, and I am one of the lucky ones to get infected (this was before Kramer).
I say go for it...a study I read somewhere said AMS was preferred because of the coating, and Titan comes in a close 2nd. Failure rate was 93% to 87%, or something like that...so the failure rates on here, on a statical scale, are insignificant. Good luck!

In my opinion. They wouldn't acknowledge a problem publicly even if they knew about it. Any fix would likely be a running change so how would you know when the old version ran out of stock? So, if you delay & wait? How in the world will you know to get it done? You have to either accept the possibility & get it or postponed surgery for several years.
