Before I decided to have the implant, I went through the Xiaflex injections. Those things were brutal. I had 6 injections. They helped, for a while, then the peyronies came back.
Almost 7 weeks ago, I had the implant. I still have the peyronies. Dr Kramer thinks it may go away, in a year or so, but I am not convinced. I lost about 1 1/2” in length, as well as girth, due to the peyronies. Now, I get a good erection, but I am having a lot of pain around the pump and the tubing on the right side. Maybe it will subside, in time.
Any others that had peyronies? How did yours workout?
I had/have Peyronie's and had a 2cc plaque at the right side of the base that caused hinging. I also had a quarter sized plaque on the right dorsal area and other plaques on the left dorsal side, all of which caused an upward curve and an hour-glass shape on the middle right dorsal area when erect(ish).
In only a month my penis is almost perfectly straight. For that matter, it didn't have a curve on day #1 or day #6 post-op either, but I don't have any decent pictures showing it from those dates. My doctor obviously remodeled my penis by bending against the curve while inflated. I have heard that they usually hear the calcified plaques "CRACK" when they do that. I was unable to find the quarter-sized plaque anymore after arriving home the day after surgery.
Up-curved penis on 6/19/2019 (4 months, 9 days before implant on 10/28/19):
Almost "Arrow-Straight" penis at 31 days after implant (Thurs 11/28/19):
