Seeking Professionals: Sexual Health
We're all familiar with the "post treatment" support from our Urologists who detected our prostate cancer, and skilled surgeons who removed our prostates. Whether it be skills, staffing resources, or motivation -- their advice on next steps to manage incontinence and ED are quite limited. That said, what is the "play book" for getting access to objective and specific professional services relating to sexual health? I am mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy fourteen months after robotic prostatectomy -- and want more guidance on regaining erectile function without the present reliance on pills (sildenafil), vacuum pumps, and primarily injections (Trimix, which is quite effective for me). Where do I turn?
Born 1955, Erectile Dysfunction, Robotic Prostatectomy (Oct 2018, Dr Bugg @ UCA, Birmingham, AL), PSA<0.007, Trimix User (30 mg Papaverine HCL, 1 mg Phentolamine MES, 10 mcg Alprostadil per 1 ML. My dose is 0.16 ML)

Too many variables involved for anybody to answer that question. Age, did the DR. save both nerve bundles, were you able to get erections before surgery, etc.
I was told by some friends in the medical field that even though saving both nerve bundles most guys will have problems that require some form of help. Be thankful you can get an erection will trimix. Using the ved helps maintain size. Jim

Look for a urologist that specializes in men’s sexual health. A multimodal view of ED and sexual health should be their perspective. If there is no one obvious, talk with a couple different urologists until you find one that seems interested in helping you maximizing your function.
Let us all know what you find. There will be other guys after you looking for the same thing. You’ll be able to help them.
