hang in there man, I'm 27 and going through it too. to be honest it's really difficult some days, but with some reflection and help from the guys here, I've come to the conclusion throwing your life away over this isn't worth it. not knowing what's is wrong will eat at you so I reccomend going to a urologist asap. I'm holding out for an implant too, venous and arterial surgeries are experimental so dont go down that route. just take it one day at a time

I’ll caveat this by saying I’m not a doctor. But I have an observation. I have discussed this with several doctors. Some listen and think it makes sense. Others do like doctors all too often do and let it go in one ear and out the other.
I don’t think guys in their late 20s/early 30s are developing venous leaks.
I think that is the age when it starts to become noticeable, but the leak has been there all along.
That’s how it was for me. I had a late puberty. As a result I never went thru the comparing dicks with a buddy/mutual masturbation phase. The only erect cock I had ever seen or had anything to do with was mine. So what mine did was basically normal.
When you’re 18 or 20 your arterial output is sufficient to overcome a bit of venous leakage. Plus you are pretty hyper excited and don’t take long to climax.
It is only when you start to slow sex down, and try to make it last longer for your partner....that the absence of a lot of excitement and constant stimulation allow your erection to subside before you’re finished.
In my case I remember having to use my left hand to basically clamp the base of my penis while masturbating with my right to keep it rigid as early as age 16 or 17.
My wife actually was the one to notice my erections didn’t act like those of other guys when I was 29 or 30. No pills back then (late 1980s). I’ve fought the good fight with shots, pills, shots and pills, and now I reckon I’ll go bionic.
I don’t want to sound Pollyanna-ish but truthfully, ED is a minor annoyance compared to other crap adults have to deal with. And there’s no telling what medical science will come up with next. Thirty years ago there was bi mix or a couple of popsicle sticks and duct tape. Now you have orals, trimix, quadmix, and effective implants.
I suspect the next revolutionary breakthrough will be to cure your E D AND give you the pornstar dick you always wanted. I’m joking but you get my drift. Keep it all in perspective. When I first started implants were big time experimental and there was no way insurance would cover it. Now it’s every day. But you may never get there. Shots and oral meds kept me going 25+ years before I started thinking about implants, and it’s taken five additional years for the E D to get bad enough to do the implant.

Quick update:
I have scheduled another appointment with another urologist by the name of Michael Granieri. He looks as solid of an option as there could be in my relatively small city of Memphis.

I wish I had seen him before the other guy, who had me in and out in 5 minutes with a Cialis prescription.
Maybe would have been prescribed the same thing, but this guy is probably the most ED specialized guy in Memphis.
Lastnight I put the Cialis to the test and had successful sex. Progress.
