Does TRT Ccause Hairloss?
Does TRT Ccause Hairloss?
Does TRT cause hairloss? I noticed less hair since being on T cream for 2 weeks now. This is fuckin insane. Does TRT cause hairloss?
Re: Does TRT Ccause Hairloss?
I have never tried TRT but yes, it is possible. DHT is a key element in hair loss and there are many testimonials that confirm it.

Re: Does TRT Ccause Hairloss?
Certainly in my case TRT caused hair loss. The hair follicles shut down when too much DHT is present and the body converts testosterone to DHT because DHT is needed for some of the systems. Depending on how sensitive your follicles are and how much testosterone you are using, it is quite possible for TRT to cause hair loss.
71 years old in 2018; married 49 years. ED since 2001. PD5 inhibitors (Viagra, etc.) worked with increasing dosages until side effects got too bad by 2017. Now using Trimix injections. Delayed ejaculation has been a continuing problem since 2012.

So I should discontinue using mt TRT treatment for good?

Full head of hair 4 years ago when diagnosed with low T and low underactive thyroid. Now hair is very thin. And splotchy on top of my head and crown. Sides and back rather full. To try to grow it out to comb over would look ridiculous so it is buzzed. No I don't like it, but my Testosterone was so low...nothing worked..I would rather be bald and horny and functional then to have a full head of hair and a useless packet between my legs. Just my humble opinion. I wish you much luck
