Tick tock - just one more day! I was ready for mine to arrive as well (4 weeks post op today). Mine got delayed a week on the morning of surgery due to dr being sick - ugh!! I too had peyronies and Ed. Read my story and see pics in introduction section. I developed peyronies in May when dick bent during sex. Thankful I found a dr that would quickly move me to an implant. My cock is now super straight (head tilts to right due to peyronies plague tissue blocking left cylinder from going all the way into my glands/head). Should not affect intercourse. My doc said my peyronies was the worse case he’d worked on (2 hour surgery). My dr also put in a cylinder size up to help with the straightening. Makes a huge flaccid package to conceal and deal with:). Be prepared for pain (mine was really bad first 4 days). Took quite a while. Reach out here - these guys are so nice and supportive. They helped me several times when I was wondering WTF. Stay in bed and only get up to potty. I understand the recovery pain is more due to the tissue damage resulting from peyronies plaque being scraped out). IFeel free to private message me. Happy to share as much as would be helpful. Best of luck pal!

I have no proof that trimix caused my peyronies , seen some mention of it in other posts, just funny that it show shortly after I started and I could never get used to the ache.
gave a nice erection but ached so bad didn't want to use it.
so I am by no means a expert on trimix I will leave that to others to comment on.

Sounds suspiciously like the old "drawn and quartered" punishment from the past. At least it would have eliminated your immediate complaint.

what is pentox, what is it suppose to do.
SW0110 wrote:Pentox is a drug reputed to help soften plaque. Most urologists will just tell you it is all in your head. Query it in the peyronies forums and you will find a lot of people used it to help soften plaque while in traction.
Pentoxifylline
I asked my doctor about it during my pre-op final visit and he nixed it saying it wouldn't help my plaque or hourglassing. Every doctor has a different opinion, apparently.

@cobylinks,
Do you still have the papers they gave you when you got out of the hospital? My AMS card was actually one of many in the back of the AMS document that was in my package. It looks like paper but is really soft plastic. The card had to but cut with scissors to separate it from the others below and it had the labels from the two products that were implanted: "CX 15 cm, 12 mm IZ" and "65 ml reservoir IZ"
BTW, IZ means "InhibiZone" antibiotic coating. AMS comes in IZ and non-IZ models.
