You’re home free man! I was on pain meds for 10 days for severe pain - feeling healed at week 5 tomorrow:) Stay in your head and on this site to process through the “what have I done”. Next comes the “ok I think I have become a new fucking person - whose this guy???? It changes you. Enjoy the ride.

I am also beginning to enter the "oh my god, what have I done?" stage but I expected as such. Am assuming it will see a relative peak in a few days when I remove the wound dressings and jock strap.

Funny, I read about this emotional phase here a couple of months before I had my implant surgery and even joked to someone about expecting to have that reaction afterward but believe it or not, it never occurred. I didn't for one minute ever have any doubts that what I had done was anything more or less than the right thing to do. I guess I'm different from the majority of the guys here though in that respect. I had myself emotionally prepared for the surgery before I ever found a urologist, having watched many surgeries on YouTube and understood exactly what would be happening to me when the time came.
