Thanks for the reply Lost Sheep.
My VA pcp pretty much told me to get stuffed when I brought up the subject. Her attitude was that she didn't want to be bothered.
The only reason I trouble with this particular bunch of cranks is that this VAH is affiliated with Shands Hospital of the U of Florida and the procedure would probably be done by a Shands surgeon rather than some VA type.
I use private medical for treatment rather than government and my private physician will give me a referral when needed.
