Implanted last week thoughts and UNexpected

Postby RBX747 » Mon Dec 30, 2019 6:09 pm

Hello

I accidental first posted in "injections" but I guess it is all relevant? Please forgive.

I was implanted last week by Dr. Leroy Jones of San Antonio. I picked Dr. Jones because although he does not have prominence on this site he is a high volume doctor with over 25 years’ experience and is a teacher of IPP implantation He is also about 1.5 hours’ drive.
I am 63 and have been married twice to wonderful ladies. For the last 15 years I have remained in relationships and always been sexually active. Viagra at 52 years old and it was amazing! Then the Viagra started to fade by 58 years old. Then injections... again amazing! I could pound nails with my first injections. Then about 4 years later the injections started to become hit or miss. I blamed the expiration period but then later learned that my time was out...
I was still able with Cialis to have spontaneous erections but they just would not last. Then I learned from this site about the woman on top issues that I was also having.
So although it was and is extremely physiologically unnerving (to say the very least) I decided I had no choice. My implant is a 24 cm Titan with a 1.5 cm rear tip extender and 125 cc reservoir. Dr. Jones says he always likes to use the rear tip extender because the Titan rear tips he finds a bit too sharp.
Dr. Jones office expect no thrills. Although I was self-pay no insurance it was similar to other prices I have seen on this site. The nurses are all males. Just a very standard urology clinic. Dr. Jones can be quite humorous when you get to know him but don’t expect him to hold your hand he is very to the point with things.
Now for the Unexpected (maybe?)
The day of my surgery while recovering in my hotel room that evening I received a friendly but provocative text video from a lady (just coincidentally). Even though I was bandaged and semi inflated (and under the influence of course) I swore I was having an ejection over the top of my semi. I thought I must be out of my mind?
Next morning at the office while having my catheter removed I started to tell Dr. Jones and before I could complete he said “and you had an erection?”! He said he tries to carefully preserve the corporal tissue putting the implants to one side deliberately.
OK that was way too hard to believe!! as I didn’t expect that at all!??
Fast forward one week still not believing (anyone with same experience please?) I noticed times when I think the worst of the pain is gone but for some reason it comes back. Today was feeling pretty good (low pain) when I caught the TV at had some sexual thoughts. The pain shot up again along with an erection/swelling on top of my semi inflated. So now I understand where the pain is coming from!

Comments thoughts?
1) My scrotum and balls have always been on the small side. The Titan pump is now a real center piece uggg. There is not much I can do about it. I have had thoughts about adding a dermal filler or some prosthesis to help dwarf the pump? Dr. Jones certainly did put the pump as high as feasible I can tell.

2) I have quite some trouble getting my penis strapped upwards like some suggest. It just hurts to do so. And the implant tubes tend to kink like a bent straw. You can feel the kink bend of the implant tubes at the base of my penis when bending the semi inflation at high angles. I am not sure if this artifact gets better with full inflation or without inflation?

3) Dr. Jones likes to wait for 6 weeks before inflating of deflating. I see others inflating or deflating in 3 to 6 weeks. I am not sure if I can wait 6 weeks?! I would start by attempting to deflate first of course. Comments (of course do what your doctor suggests)?

4) In the pictures… one is the day after my surgery and one is one week after in semi inflated. I have not had too much problem with swelling.

5) Another reason I choose Dr. Jones I wanted the scrotal approach. But I didn’t know he would do a transverse scrotal in the shape of a crescent (instead of longitudinal). I certainly don’t object but this was a surprise.

6) I was worried I would not be able to “flex” my penis while having sex. But it still jumps (bounces) around with my kegel flexing. I would think a woman needs some sign of life in the penis?

7) I have not masturbated yet. But is very tempting have a semi hard dick in your pants all the time so that feeling is good. I tried a bit yesterday but again (it appears) stimulation on top of the semi rigid is painful.
Please forgive my novice attempts to describe and any errors I have made.

My name is Tommy. Was part of this forum 5 years ago pre-implant with the LGX 700. From my experience you are being a little impatient with your body. Give it the full 6 weeks, hell give it 8 weeks. Your body is having to get used to a foreign body and heal from an invasive procedure. Post surgery i was down for a full 7 weeks prior to pumping up and then it was very uncomfortable. This steadily got better with each pumping exercise. My first hand job was less than stellar but this to improved dramatically with each attempt.
Bottom line. Be patient. Allow time for healing and I think you will find that your equipment will function just fine.

Guys I would like to keep this going... I have absolutely confirmed just after week 2 that I am having spontaneous erections with my implant. OMG never did I imagine that possibility. I feel so damn lucky and bless Dr. Jones.

What is interesting of course for now my Titan is partially inflated so I guess the spontaneous blood that would normally be a chubby is pretty much a full on?

And when it happens it aches like crazy. And afterwards pain for about 4 hours. Comments is this like a 1 in a 100 or more common?

also please if you guys look at my other comments below I appreciate it very much!

I did read one study wherein about 50% of implanted men had spontaneous (unaided by inflation of the implant) erections and on man even had an erection once sufficient for penetrative sex. All had cavernosum-sparing technique used for the implant.

I suppose (though the authors of the paper did not go this far) that the erections were due to venous leakage being mitigated by the implant compressing the leaking veins. But that is pure speculation.

So, it is possible, as documented in this medical journal. (I don't have the link handy, but have cited it in FrankTalk before)

Another paper I read documented the advantages of early cycling - as soon as the patient can tolerate it. This minimizes the encapsulation of the implant by scar tissue. Such "pseudo-capsules" make it difficult to achieve full inflation of the implant to its design size. Yet another paper documented a trial wherein patients return to the surgeon periodically and attempted early inflation (as much as the patients would tolerate before hollering, "stop"). Both studies had a high dropout rate but did support the idea that early inflation is beneficial. Dr. Eid is one who adheres to an early inflation protocol, but his surgeries involve extraordinary care to minimize trauma and internal bleeding.

Note: I am no medical professional and most of what I know I learned from a couple years reading here on FrankTalk and medical papers I have found on the internet published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Still, I am just a layman.

I was worried I would not be able to “flex” my penis while having sex. But it still jumps (bounces) around with my kegel flexing. I would think a woman needs some sign of life in the penis?
Yep, the muscles in my crus can still flex and that makes my penis move. My girlfriend was fascinated.

Inflation or masturbation (as tempting as it is) is not advisable for a few weeks. You don't want to risk straining your surgical incisions before they are healed COMPLETELY - ESPECIALLY the internal ones in your Tunica Albuginea. Strength is required in the walls of the tunica to prevent a "blowout" of the implant through the tunica walls. That would require reconstruction. You don't want to go there.

I can hardly wait for my implant. Although I haven't contacted him yet I have my sites set on Dr. Jones because of his location(San Antonio) and the fact that he tries to preserve the corporal tissue is an added bonus. RBX, question: where exactly was the surgery performed? :)

Surgery was at Methodist Hospital. Dr. Jones has is own special team that has high volume experience. Again Dr. Jones can be a little dry and to the point. The urology clinic in San Antonio is a very basic clinic with one TV LOL. Nothing glamorous at all.

However right now as you can see in my semi inflated mode nothing but up from here LOL The pump is in the place we talked about. No extra tubing what so ever. The dog ears when I bent my penis up against the belly have gone.

I don't want to speak to quickly but so far very professional job knock wood (wait this is what the subject is about LOL).

I am almost 3 weeks out and I am embarrassed to say horny has hell. I have visions of pounding the sh!t of out fat grandmas that need to take a shower just to make them feel good :o

It is a crazy feeling... and I have already masturbated twice (don't tell Jones). Walking around with big semi hard dick all day (after the slight pain subsides) is very erotic.

I can make my penis bounce with kegel. One thing I was also worried about. Gurls need to see the life in ya. Stay tuned.

On btw you and your wife will love it.

I think we are still horny after surgery for two reasons. First is we can't use it right now. Second reason is that we're erect or semi for most of the time and for those turtles, the first time probably ever that they've rubbed again their underwear or trousers for any length of time.

Lost Sheep!!!!

Thank you for your wonderful and informative reply.

I was thinking the exact same thing. You wrote:

That is exactly what I would guess is happening. It makes one think that for venous leakage maybe some day there will be a procedure that does a wide spread compression of the veins maybe by laser ablation of sorts.

I think there are procedures like that now, but it seems that finding just the right place(s) to work on and by how much is "by guess and by golly". The surgeons have to be very careful not to overdo it, so underdoing it is common, so failures are common. Just my speculation and based on extremely thin evidence.
