Im 4 years post op but i also had a fairly long ride home.
Best advice i can give...
-keep the ice going. A small ice chest to replenish along the way
-keep the urinal handy. Nature will force frequent stops along the trip
-wear the jockstrap and sit on a pillow. The jock will keep your penis and sack from moving around.
-Minimize the painkillers. At least for me the narcotic and moving car made me kind of nauseous.
Best of luck to you. All the best thoughts sent your way. In a few hours you’ll have a bionic dick!

Implanted today. Little to no pain until spinal wore off. Controlling pain with meds - but bag is swollen to four times it’s normal size and one solid bruise-becoming painful. Icing and laying down. Have catheter and drain bag. Anything else should do? See Doc in morning.

Thanks for great advice about long car ride home.
Took your advice and long car ride not so tough!
Stopped often, walked at every opportunity, and iced thoroughly.

Now day 6 post op. Swelling continues to go down - although slowly. Bruising is in its full glory! Didn’t know there were so many shades of blue/black? Pain has been minimal, but there has Ben discomfort. Using heat pad every few hours and it seems to be helping the healing. Could not have done this without loving care of my wife and all of the sharing on this site!

Bionic Brothers:
Day 10 post op and good news to share. Swelling and bruising are down and pain is minimal. My scrotum is almost normal in size and I can find the pump - lower left! I can now walk with no chapping and no pain - just hair pricks! Since I am partially pumped, my greatest issue is hiding the partial erection - using thick banded underwater. Will meet with Doc on Thursday for 2 week checkup and removal of stitches. Normally this Doc waits 4 weeks before inflation/deflation. That’s gonna be difficult? Anyone experienced this long a wait for cycling?
I continue to appreciate the posts and ideas of everyone on this forum. It has been great to learn and share.
Till next time.

My surgeon waits six weeks before cycling. My feeling is that its just individual preference. My appointment was at 7 weeks, so I just started cycling on my own at six weeks. Im sure they would have wanted to teach me at my appointment but I watched enough videos to figure it out. I am at 3 months now and still too tender to penetrate. I content myself with masturbation. I guess Im a slow healer but am confident that I just need a little more time.
