Can you achieve any form of a natural erection post surgery?

So yes, it can happen :D

Do you think it is actually the tunica (corpus cavernosum) or the corpus spongiosum (which is outside the tunica albuginea and does not provide rigidity, but does provide engorgement which CAN provide a small amount of rigidity/stiffness)

I feel that in my case, it's a feedback sort of thing. It happens much deeper and with natural tissues so pressure applied either to a side of the penis or to the groin gives a familiar "feedback" that tells me it's natural in origin. It's really hard to describe but the old familiar feeling when I would get a raging boner and could feel it deep inside my groin, is there when I get the feeling and chub. pressure on the shaft from either side emphasizes the feeling more. When it's only inflated, there is no natural feedback sensation as it's not a natural erection.

Almost 3 weeks post op and stiff. I have noticed as I become more active my semi stiff will swell and get harder. My flaccid state is a curve to the left. My surgeon said he does not remove the spongy tissue. It may become compressed with the cylinders and dilation. But he does not core out the copra.

Could be, I just don't know. All I know is that I like it :P . I'll let you doctor types figure it out :D . Maybe sometime it will happen when I can get a picture so I can compare. Problem is that it doesn't last long :( .

And when it does, taking a picture is probably the last thing on your mind.

One suggestion, if you are so inclined, is to feel of your penis to detect your tunica walls. If the stiffness is inside them (much as you can feel the implant inflating the tunica) you are likely experiencing a spontaneous, organic erection. If the stiffness prevents you from feeling a stiffened tunica, this is likely the spongiosum.

So weird. I just emailed Dr. Kramer asking if what is happening to me is an Tactra thing or a Dr. Kramer thing (if he would know).
Several times, even though its a 1-piece (tactra), I have gotten chubs whenever, and it has caused me to sleep naked or just unbutton my pants because it is uncomfortable.
When I get the chub, my dick presses into my pants, whatever I am wearing, and since I cannot control it, I have to either just take off my clothes, or excuse myself and go into bathroom and somehow readjust myself. Since I am uncut, my head is a bit more sensitive then you cut guys, and clothing can get stuck to the head, so there is a push/pull action going on that is not anything to smile about.
It has to subside by itself. As I said, I cannot control it either way.

So I guess it is a form of natural erection, but with caveats.

Easy way to tell which body is engorged, if the spongiosum has engorged, you'll find the urethral area to be puffed out on the underside of your dick. The spongiosum surrounds the urethra and includes the glans. I believe it aids in the forceful expulsion of semen through the urethra as it contracts to reduce urethral diameter and increase pressure in the urethra during ejaculation.

If it's engorged, the urethra will be much more prominent.

Yes, that makes sense. Kind of like when you put your finger or thumb (partially) over the end of a water hose, you can make the stream go farther.
