Got another question on a PM which I thought I might as well answer here, since I am sure someone would be interested.
Merrix,
I just posted on my thread about putting my dick away...in any circumstance. For the thread, I was at the gym and the permanent woody was getting in the way of all the lower body movements I was making (walking, straddling the machine to get into position).
Since you are on the large side, which is what I am when I get hard, do you even have to think about how to put your dick away? I mean, considering the before implant scenarios, when putting on your pants, or when at gym or wherever, do movements eventually make you uncomfortable? Does your dick get in the way?
My dick is about 15-15.5 cm deflated bone pressed. Which is about 6 inches.
I can honestly say that no, it is never a problem for me. Of course I can feel my dick sometimes in a way I didn't before implant, when it was about 10 cm (4 inches) flaccid. All it means is that sometimes I have to rearrange it and make sure it is placed in the right way before some activities. But this is very rarely. Most of the time I just wear it to the side and that's it. I don't think about it for all day.
In the gym it is the same thing. I normally keep it sideways and that's it.
What situations do I need to bother?
Well, when sitting down and crossing my legs, I must make sure my dick is sideways to the side of the leg I am crossing over the other. Otherwise, well, not comfortable.
In the gym, it is mostly when I do a full range heavy leg press I need to make sure I place my dick optimally. Which in that case is down the centre. Sideways, it'd get "crushed" between thigh and abs. And what heavy means for me in this case is about 12-14 pcs of 20 kg plates. This will put some pressure on my dick in the bottom position if I go till a full stop. And I don't want my dick to be squeezed under that weight.
In everyday life, it is basically never an issue.
I would like to add though, to any Titan guys who just had their surgery and don't recognize themselves in what I say, that it wasn't like this from the beginning. It took some time before my flaccid reached the state it is at now. For the first months, maybe even a year, I had to be more aware of this issue. But it was still manageable. However, know that your Titan will gradually soften over a long period of time. 1-2 years at least before it gets to its final state.

Thanks! This definitely makes up my mind on 1 piece vs. 3-piece. The 1-piece is great, but the putting away, as well as the constant pressure against clothing is a major minus. I like the 1-piece, but since I have functionality, now I can move on to comfort, and that would be the 3-piece.
Found out last night that wearing my dick sideways is painful, and wearing it down brings up the issue of the fucker poking out, and since I am uncut, the foreskin rolls back eventually...ouch!

Re: My Journal
Note that I've only recently gotten comfortable with bending mine down for any length of time and sideways wasn't much before that. I was implanted in 10/28 and its been 91 days since then. Since you had a more invasive surgery after mine, you're probably still a ways out from total or even partial comfort in bending it.

Re: My Journal
Pretty sure you are right on that note, Wayne.
My test drive with Fred resulted in spotting. I emailed my Dr. about that and he said it was probably new skin coming to the surface and not to worry. Infection highly doubtful.
My lifting and bending is still not comfortable, as I would still prefer just let things go until I really need to get my rocks off! I am putting ointment and using Hydrogen Peroxide when showering and I wish I started doing this earlier.

Re: My Journal
Yes, infection the second time around is very unlikely due to the protocols they use. I have heard (maybe from you) that not only do you have to strip down to skin BEFORE going into the "OR", but after the infected implant is removed and the infected body parts are heavily flushed with 50/50 Betadine/sterile H20, 50/50 Hydrogen peroxide/sterile H20, and debrided using a medical version of a WaterPik, then the entire surgical staff except the anesthesiologist LEAVE the room to scrub again and change into new garments before completing the implantation of the replacement.

thanks for this timely post. im 5 days out from a 22 (+1) titan and im wishing i had an lgx right now as im sure my tunica will never hit the 17mm lgx diameter limit. i was pretty narrow and the titan feels like two kinked up hoses in there. Dr Eid would be my surgeon- that was a given- and he said the titan was the implant for my case. I questioned him again right before surgery and he took out a piece of paper and listed the sizes available from the manufacturers the diameters of the tips; he was attempting to get the most stable and rigid erection. i knew the titan softened up over time and wasnt going to judge my result for 6 months but searching the board after surgery, i see people 16 months out still with this issue- very worrying. time will tell but im glad you posted this.
22 +1 titan. January, 2020 with Dr Eid. Failed January, 2023. Seems to be a break in the tubing.

Judging by your post, it's clear you need the Titan and Dr eids judgement is right.
Hidden pump
I just realized the other day how much less I can feel my pump nowadays than before. It has always (well except for the first few weeks when there was still swelling) had a perfect placement. Centered, behind my balls, at a slightly higher position than my balls. But I still think it was very easily felt when touching the scrotum.
I have been on TRT since 2013. Don't know for how long my Testosterone levels were low, never tested it before that year. Maybe that has been an issue forever and maybe it is one of the reasons for the VL, some research indicates that VL could be a consequence of low T. Doesn't matter now. Anyway, the TRT journey has been some hell of a ride. Almost worthy of an equally long Journal as this one, about the implant. I have tried all delivery systems. Long lasting shots (Nebido, once every 8-12 weeks), gel (Androgel), tablets (Andriol), SERMs (Clomid) and shorter acting T-injections (Testosterone cypionate). All have their advantages, and none of them come without their problems either. Some of them raise Estradiol more than others and hence I have been taking aromatase inhibotors (Arimidex) as well. I have also tried HcG, which increases LH activity.
And just for the records, I never did anything crazy. Always been aiming for and hovering around the normal T-levels for my age. Never above the normal range, and not even in the top quartile.
Anyway, my point is this: After the recent changes to my TRT protocol, I think I have finally arrived at something that is close to perfect. As a side effect of that perfection, my balls are actually regaining (lost) size, and moved down a fair bit in the scrotum. This has, to return to the implant subject, made a huge difference in appearance and how easy/hard it is to feel the pump in my scrotum.
It has also made me realize how this issue has such a huge impact on this topic - i.e. how easily the pump is seen and felt. Having huge balls vs having small TRT-shrunken balls just makes a huge difference.
This is worth keeping in mind when someone complains (or states) that his pump is very visible and/or easily felt, and someone else says it is barely visible at all, and difficult to feel by the touch as well. Big/small and high/low balls makes a difference. A noticeable one.
Anyway, if someone on TRT is experiencing shitty results overall, I can share my experience. Of course, I am no doctor. Just as I am no urologist/implant surgeon, I am neither an endocrinologist or andrologist. I am just a guy who likes to dig my head in to whatever topic is important for me, someone who tends to be quite good at finding and analyzing data and putting one and two together to come up with something that works. And then being able to stand up for myself and not let anybody (in this case a doctor) get away with incompetence. And oftentimes, based on mine, and several others, experience, many doctors don't really know much about TRT. They just take a blood test (sometimes not even that), give you a T-cyp shot of 200 mg every second week and then send you back home. Probably in many cases left feeling no better than when you entered his office.
And regarding the shrinking balls, there is an easy fix to that. Welll, it requires frequent self injections. But not many good things come without work in this world...

Re: My Journal
Hi Merrix, Thanks for keeping this journal. It has been most helpful in answering my questions and reducing my fears.
Would you like to share your TRT protocol? I am on TRT as well; I am aware the resulting testicular atrophy will likely make the pump more visible.
I use a small amount of HCG (2x500iu/week) to prevent further atrophy and, hopefully, maintain sensitivity (as the testicles, at least in my case, are an important erogenous bodypart).
