First injection with uro! Trimix 30-1-10

Well guys... looks like I have already reached the end of my rope on the 20mcg of Trimix 2.

June 2019: Trimix 30-1-10 and after 2 months of gradual unit increases to 70 units...

September 2019: Trimix 2 (30-2-20)

It's now almost February 2020 and 80 units barely gets me hard for 15 minutes. So I phone call requested the next stronger dose he prescribes: SUPER TRIMIX. He skips the 30 and 40 and goes straight to 50mcg of PGE. I received a phone call from his assistant and the next dose will NOT be the Super Trimix but to keep going with the Trimix 2 (30-2-20) and inject 100 units. WTF? A full syringe! Has anyone put 100 units... into their unit? LOL Seems weird to me to put that much volume in.

Before I got dr to increase my tri mix strength I was injecting 90 units. Yes it’s a lot. I’d try it and then go back to your dr for an increase.

Well I did when I used Edex 20s. I'm doing about 14 units with Mono-mix 80mcg.

That's standard protocal for Uros to do before they issue a stronger mix (having patient inject high amounts of weak mix) it covers their behind too because you've demonstrated that you've exhausted this mix and are now ready for a stronger one.

Okay, so I did 100 units, twice, with Trimix 2 (30-2-20) and it's painful! Not shooting it in but when erection occurs and wifey works on him. It's painful enough that I make her stop. I don't know if it's the continuing pain or 100 isn't enough to sustain the erection after we stop but it goes down after 15 minutes. The pain lasts for several hours. Penis head is still sore to the touch 8 hours later.

Question:

When I go to the 50mcg of PGE, will the higher concentration but much lower volume, probably result in the same amount of pain?
Uro skips the 30 and 40 mcg, goes to 50mcg of PGE, next.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences, at best and hallucinations or delusions at worst. Remember, advice found on an internet forum is likely worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

Alprostadil is usually the ingredient in tri-mix that is most likely to cause pain. It's also the most effective ingredient. It is my opinion that the more water the alprostadil is dissolved in the less the likelihood of pain. But that's mainly injection pain. In general I believe that, if you're one of the guys more susceptible to alprostadil pain, then the more alprostadil injected the more resultant pain, regardless of the volume of water it's dissolved in. In many guys that are initially susceptible to alprostadil pain, they will gradually experience less pain with continued use. A certain percentage of guys will never overcome the pain issue and for them alprostadil is not the answer. I don't use tri-mix as I'm compatible with alprostadil and so I use just alprostadil and saline.

Something to consider: 100 is a lot. Not unheard of.. but way up there and cost inefficient.
I noted the use of a 5/16 needle. Experience has shown me often there is mechanical failure with shorter needles. ie: Not getting it in the cavernosum properly
and instead injecting between it and the skin. result - minor effect having one believe it is the formula at issue
because you are not getting the full effect of the medication, only a muted effect from the amount that "seeps" in. 1/2 inch may be indicated and worth a try.

I noticed as to the dull pain for me its worst when injecting often i went almost 20 days no injecting then 3 days in a row pain was present day 2 a little day 3 a lot

1/2 inch may be indicated and worth a try.

Same results with the 1/2 inch after 3 weeks. Damn.... it's too painful to continue sex after about 5 minutes and head of penis is soar/sensitive for days. I have to gingerly place him back into underwear every time I use the washroom.

I'll give the 50mcg a shot if uro lets me, his next level up, at LOW dose and see what happens.

Phil65 have you had a radical prostatectomy? What is the reason you went injection?
