Cycling- When (esp. if you are working) and how long?

Postby Agfa13 » Sat Feb 01, 2020 12:13 am

I keep reading about cycling, but I need details on how long and what time of day, esp. if you work. I know people are different on tolerance of how much they should pump up, but I want to compress, in one thread, what you AMS and Coloplast guys do to get your cocks up and running to their full glory.
Esp. after a year or so of cycling, what did you gain?

As long as there is a stall available when I head to the restroom at work, I will always take the stall and cycle up and back down at each urination stop. I also do my typical remodel bend to adjust my upward bend while I'm at 100% pressure.

I cycle basically anytime I have my penis in my hands.

I'm only at 95 days as you know, so I can't speak for gains after a year but I can say that in about 3 weeks that I've practically straightened out the up-turn with minor corrections needed now everytime I cycle. When I started the remodeling, my up-turn was substantial and now it's almost gone.

All bets may be off and I may be back to square one shortly though. I will find out this coming Monday after seeing Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, if I will be getting a revision anytime soon. Of course once I get the "YES", I hope he has an opening between now and March 31st though because my insurance resets on 4/1/20 and I'll have to scare up $3000.00 for my maximum out of pocket again. Then there's the question of whether he can code it such that my insurance will approve another surgery when my distal PD is under control (my proximal PD is CRAP though and the implant is scary in the shallowness of the rear tips!)

Cycling seems to be almost an obsession with some men. When I got mine (over 10 years ago) there was never any mention of cycling, and I had lost no length or girth following the procedure. In early days I inflated it a few times now and then, but when the novelty wore off I basically forgot about it. No doubt I would have had more interest if my sex life hadn't ended, but c'est la vie.

In my case cycling was not necessary for me to regain length and girth because I didn't lose any to start with. Now, all these years later, I don't even remember when I last inflated it.

So Waynetho, you said you pump up in stall, so each time you go in, how long does each pump, stay, and deflate session last? How long do you hold the pump state?

I just pump up, bend the end 1/3 down for 15-20 seconds, try to put 1-2 more pumps in to make sure it was still 100%, then I release and roll everything down to deflate. About 30-45 seconds, maybe no more than one minute total after peeing. Sometimes I pump *WHILE* peeing which is a particular skill since the stream dynamics change with each pump so I have to keep adjusting my aim.

I'm 3 weeks post op. I started cycling day 3 and today I have gained all of my length and girth back. Cycling twice a day for 30 minutes 100%.

Damn! That’s quick? Did it not pain? Was your scrotum not swelled? Did you warm your scrotum before pumping and deflating? Did you sit in warm bath to make it easier? I am looking forward to the implant and some tips would be helpful.
A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.

Without your info in your signature, I'm guessing you probably got your implant from Dr Eid in NYC, is that right? I understand that Eid instructs patients to "Start Cycling at Day 3".
