I thought I'd give an update. Couldn't find any real articles or information that indicated that a using a VED is bad for an IPP, so I went with "The Doc said to do it.". I have developed my routine:
1. Deflate completely. Open the valve and squeeze down until no fluid movement is felt in the pump. Keep squeezing and activate the pump.
2. Cycle vacuum on and off until maximum size is attained (Vacuum on, count ten, Vacuum release vacuum, Vacuum on, count ten-lather, rinse, repeat until there is no more penis expansion.
3. Once maximum is attained, hold that vacuum level for 20 minutes. Add vacuum as needed to maintain the level.
4. At the end of 20 minutes release vacuum then reapply until max size is attained again-increasing vacuum as high as physical comfort level allows. Hold this for one minute.
5. Release vacuum. Remove the pump. Rest for 15 minutes. Cycle three times.
I have had to remind myself-I can pump forever, the tubes will not get any longer or thicker. You can't expect length or girth gain using a VED. It will allow for bigger hardware if a revision is done. I found an article about a guy who had used a VED and when he needed a revision added an inch in length and 1/2 inch in girth.
The result after 90 days:
General:
No more cold tip
Less tip flopping
With the IPP inflated:
-Moderate increase in girth
-Moderate increase in meatus (tip) size.
-Able to stay inflated for a much longer time before discomfort sets in.
While using VED:
-50% girth increase.
-3/4 inch increase in length.

Re: Anyone using VED post implant?
Thanks a lot. I do this everyday too. Gives me some hope.
Thinking of using a construction ring for the extra length and girth but haven't figured out a way yet. Getting a suction with the implant tubing is hard.also getting a construction ring in India is hard. Don't want to spend a fortune on expensive pumps as I don't know if a suction would be possible.
Although Perito advises to use ved with the implant inflated in the video.

Implanted in New Delhi on 26/12/19 with AMS CX (15x12) + 4cm RTE
Post op length 4.5 inches from ~ (5.5 to 6) inches. Disappointed!
Wish to have a revision to LGX some day.

I will tell you that the preponderance of information I found on the topic said to be deflated when using a VED. Your dick, your call.
Do NOT waste money on a constriction ring. The process of implanting removes all the tissue that a constriction ring would influence. Waste of money.
I use this. It's exactly like what the Doctor prescribed and less expensive.

Re: Anyone using VED post implant?
The sleeve I use with the VED is pretty tight and at least it keeps glans inflated and provides more girth. As constriction ring works the same way I guess it would have the same effect.
Where did you read to keep implant deflated while pumping?

Hey Mke..
When were you implanted and what type of implant do you have? Just curious when after implantation you started using the VED? Should I wait until I have less pain/discomfort to start or just start right away. Also I am confused as some say to use VED when fully inflated but you seem to be using it fully deflated and by your pictures it seems to be working.

Re: Anyone using VED post implant?
Guys, just got back from watching some vids on youtube about using VEDs, Yes, there is no proof, but it is being studied. What Perito says is go for it, but don't expect to get a brand new dick! Make sure to get a medical grade device, as it has a pressure regulator, but he is not an advocate either way. Use on top of cycling to pull up blood into the penis for engorgment of the head, but that is about it.

Re: Anyone using VED post implant?
I've been using a VED since I got my implant 2 years ago, probably a good 3 days a week for up to 45 mins. I do it both deflated and inflated. Doesn't harm it at all. The cylinders are reinforced, made to take, or rather give, a pounding, so a vacuum suction is not going to do anything to it. The negative pressure generated is not enough to rupture the thing, if it does, then the cylinder was defective to begin with and was going to happen anyway at some point just from inflating it. I credit it for expanding my corpora, which has allowed me to inflate to bigger girth. I don't see any downside.

What's the VED help with 2 years post implant? That's that keep/improve your size or is it for girth size or something like that? Blood flow thing? Sounds like something I'll definitely end up doing, figured I should ask why I'll be doing it lol.

Re: Anyone using VED post implant?
I tried VED one time 3 months post op and I had severe pain so I did not continue it. I did do long pump adding inflations and did have gains out past one year. The information I have read is for men who are able to use VED post op is that it will give men the gains quicker than cycling therapy. I have not seen a doctor or health professional recommendation for VED use protocol post op. The paper with the VED post op use that Dr. Perito is included on is here: https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/d88 ... action.pdf Several things to note about the paper is that the men were hand picked. This means that after they were screened pre op and then opened up and examined during surgery then the ones that qualified were placed in this group. To me that means there are some of us that should not do this and then of course some that can. The next thing about this study that jumps out at me is that all the men in the group had very early activation (started cycling). That in it's self is the subject of this paper https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis That paper is in the documents worth reading thread in the General section of this forum. So I am not sure how much of the results in the Perito paper is from early activation and how much is from VED use. My feeling is that the VED use does get the increases quicker than cycling alone. But there is a lot of information missing. The most important is who should and should not do this and when. And is there any special procedures during surgery to permit this. And also lacking in the paper is the protocol for VED use post surgery.
This would be something that would need conversation with your doctor. Or even with a doctor that does have men use VED post surgery. You can go your own on this but there would be a risk. But it's your body and your choice.
