Wayntho is right. The implant is stiffer than empty cylinders. The cylinder material itself has some amount of stiffness. The Coloplast material is stiffer all by itself with no fluid inside the cylinders than the AMS products, but all make the penis measurably stiffer than before the implant. This, even if the patient's cavernosum tissues have been removed.

So, to summerize, you both are saying that the empty cylinders will not allow for a hang and will instead cause a curve? Wow! I just want my length and girth back. There is a lot of info that I am reading up on here, esp. the cycling immediately after post-op to get length and girth back ASAP so you don't have to cycle.
This scar tissue thing is being answered and makes sense.

No, not "cause a curve". Just that the implant will not allow as much "drape" as an unimplanted, completely flaccid penis would have. ("Drape", as used as a term of art by clothiers referring to the ability to fall loosely and softly over whatever the cloth is covering. Silk usually has a lot of "drape" and canvas does not.)

LS, I still say cause a curve, lol. Since the cylinders are heavy for the Titan, I understand they will not 'drape' normally as a untouched cock. But since the cylinders are not filled, they will tend to bunch up, causing the curve, correct?
Will the bunching up eventually even out over time, as the encasement of the implant gets used and warmed up by the body?

Just read a post by Waynetho that to minimize kinks (AMS or Coloplast), *roll* your implant up from dickhead tip to pubic region (hope I am correct in the length). Have to keep this in mind when I get my Titan.
Last night, sleep won out, but my Tactra was bothersome, and my foreskin rolled back. I can't bend the fucker in any more and its pissing me off! I have an appt. with Dr. Sklar about this, but may just have to deal with it until I get my permanent implant.

That may have been me. One thing I realize is along with the implant, I am dealing with a shield for incontinence caused from the cancer. That extra little bulk in my briefs does not help. The AMS is very soft, but the newness of an extra inch (soft) takes getting used to.

I imagined a bit of a different meaning to your phrase, "cause a curve". Now that we are on the same page, we agree.

I am not sure if the "bunch up" you envision will cause a curve, kink or what. Let us know and report back, would you? My LGX has a little bit of kinking or wrinkling to it, but it is not apparent visually and can barely be felt/palpated by fingers and not at all by internal feeling in my penis.

LS, after 2 1/2 years, you still have the same kinks in the same places?
I would think that, after a long while, kinks will either disappear or soften due to encasement in a body.

Last night, I went to bed with my dick wrapped up, as well as my dickhead. Made no difference. I ended up sleeping naked again.
I wore underwear (old and baggy) under my sweat pants. True, the sensitivity went down, but not much, and I found my dick pushing out against my underwear, making things uncomfortable.

I actually wore my underwear today, for the whole day. This sensitivity is going up and down for me. I guess the rubbing against clothing was just indicative of my situation, infection, and how long it will take to heal.
