Implant surgery is until not until 10/1 former, but I still remember catheter removal after my radical prostatectomy. Unusual, unplasant but not exactly painful. And I got to give vent to my feelings/opinions about the whole surgery thing. I gave the urologist a good watering! Not totally unexpected after the surgery involved and the nearly one month the catheter was in.

There really is a trick to pulling they cath out with little or minimal pain...its about breathing through. I had to have the cath put back in after I couldn't pee . I had the second one four days. It hurt like hell when the nurse at the hospital pulled out the first one and even more to have another put in, but when I went the uro's office to have the second one taken out the PA had me blow through pursed lips at the count of three and I hardly felt a thing. Good luck.
55 years old. ED since 2002 total venous leakage after penile fracture. Tried all the pills and injections all failed to help. Some success with VED, but felt too unnatural to both of us, seldom used. Implanted 06/21/12. Trying to wear IT out.
