trimix failing

Mine is 45 pge. /1/27. I use 42 units

My uro will be upping me to 50 PGE from my 20 PGE that's failing at 100 units.
How's the pain with 45 PGE at 42 units?

i guess I need to talk to my urologist.....he told me it was the strongest about a year ago

If you don't have a big issue with alprostadil pain you could also ask about alprostadil (PGE-1) mono-mix, which is what I use. I use 14 units of a 80mcg per ml alprostadil mono-mix. It works very well for me but every guy is different.

Once again agree with Bldoink...using straight PGE-1 with no pain..just a little ache after sex which goes away shortly thereafter. It works... even my old stuff thats over a year old with just refrigeration.

Not even close, no.

You are on what I used called "mix 8" from my pharmacy. I've told this story elsewhere here, but see below for the formulations I used. I was on mix 5 for 4.5 years. When that started to weaken I went to what you are on now, "mix 8". I started...started...at 35-40 units of mix 8 and rode that up to the full syringe (100 units) before moving on to the next one, mix 9.

Basically, I spent 4.5 years on the starter (for me) mix 5.

The next 4.5 years were spent moving steadily through the other higher concentration mixes. Always using them with increasing volume until I got to a full 100 units, then moving up to the next higher potency mix. Your dick can absolutely take 100 units injected in one spot.

So, for me, 9 total years on increasingly higher potency mixes. The last recent 1.5 years I was unhappy with the injection site pain and the quality of my erections was lessening to the point where I could not count on them, and they were not hard enough, for long enough, to do the things my wife and I want to do. So I implanted 13 weeks ago. Trimix was a great ride. It made my dick do absolutely crazy things. Never, even when a teenager, or in my 20s, did my dick do what Trimix allowed it to do for most of that 9 years anyway.

Here's the mixes:

Papaverine / Phentolamine / Prostaglandin (Alprostadil)
mix #5: 30mg 1mg 10 mcg's
mix #8: 30mg 2mg 20 mcg's
mix #9: 30mg 4mg 40 mcg's
mix #13: 30mg 6mg 60 mcg's
mix #16: 30mg 6mg 100 mcg's

If your doctor and/or pharmacy don't understand this, and if they are not helping you to aggressively titrate your dosing to a dose which works for you, then I recommend you move on and find someone who will help you. If your urologist really said that the 30/2/20 mix is the strongest out there, I would find a new urologist right now - that is horribly misinformed, lazy at best, and absolutely wasting your time.

What location are you injecting? I would change up the needle angle of the injection. For example if you are injecting at 3 and 9 o'clock, try injecting at 2 and 10 o'clock. You said that you have been using for six years. You could be developing scar tissue and the needle is not actually penetrating the cavernosa. You may think it is but your injection is going under the skin which is causing you to get chubbed but not an erection. The chubby is from the medication trapped under the skin making you penis fatter. And you might have some absorbtion in the cavernosa when it is under the skin but not enough to give you a strong erection. That's my unprofessional opinion but I'm telling you from experience.
