Placement of Tube between pump and reservoir?

Postby junk098 » Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:20 pm

I have a AMS LGX. The tube connecting my reservoir to my pump runs down the right side my penis. I see many diagrams where this tube is run in the center between the 2 cylinders. I sometimes have discomfort with this tube. Is it placed correctly? Did my surgeon screw up?

I'm guessing you got your surgery via penoscrotal incision? If so, the placement is very common and was not screwed up by the surgeon.

If you research the anatomy of the erectile bodies (corpora cavernosa, singular=corpus cavernosum), you'll see that it is much easier to go around the penis than it would be to run a tube between the two corpora. The only place I've seen it routed that way was in a plexiglas mock-up of the cylinders/pump/reservoir.
