Implant Angle
Not sure if anyone will have an answer to this, but figured I would inquire. I am a young guy who is considering an implant. Beyond concerns about size, I also worry about the potential for a bad erection angle/hinge effect with an implant. When I am injected, my penis gets hard but it does not stand straight up. When laying down, it will flop over and not point upward. Will this be the case with my implant? I think the reason for the floppy erection could be a suspensory ligament issue but I’m not sure. I really just wonder if an implant would fix this or not. Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance.

Re: Implant Angle
Depends on the install, w RTE’s the angle up is less.
Sept 11, 2018: excision, grafting (human cadever tissue) and implant. Doc is Dr Edward Karpman in Mountain View, surgery at El Camino Hospital, LOS Gatos CA. AMS 700 CX infrapubic 18 cm + 3 cm RTE. http://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php
Re: Implant Angle
I have no RTEs but my angle is about 4:30 on the clock face when inflated. I have an unusually short crus or proximal corpora that terminates at the symphysis pubis or pubic bone. The suspensory ligament is a little slack and it's all that holds things together, so I have a very natural 5:30 deflated hang but the inflated is only 4:30.

Re: Implant Angle
My inflated angle is very good, somewhere between 2 and2:30.
I don’t have hinge effect. It is very stabile and very hard. For sex, I use about 70-80% inflated.
My disappointment is with my deflated angle which never goes lower than 4:30 or 45 degrees. It looks always semi erect and sticking out despite being totally deflated and flat like it was run over by bus tire.
I am almost 18 months post implant and I don’t think it will ever be better.
Yes, it is nice and assuring to have hard erection and working penis but I need it for about 2 hrs/week. Other 166 hours are bothering me.
As a young guy, I would not rush to get penile implant. Once implanted, no way back.
I had prostate Cancer and radical prostatectomy which rendered me 100% impotent so decision was easy to make. Still, sometimes, I am questioning myself if I should wait couple of years more after prostatectomy to see if something would come up.
At the time of decision, I was22 months post RP and nothing worked for me with never experienced any spontaneous sign of life from my penis.

Re: Implant Angle
During my 12 years using Trimix, I was never more than horizontal at my hardest. So far with the implant, I am way above that for the first time since age 25. I hope it continues.

By 3 o clock I am guessing 45 degrees up from parallel to ground.
That sounds like an amazing erection. On the inflation videos on youtube..I never saw an implant higher than parallel to ground.

Per the clock analogy, 3 o'clock is straight out, parallel to the ground. 4 o'clock is about 30 degrees lower and 5 o'clock would be 60 degrees lower than parallel. Conversely, 2 o'clock would be 30 degrees higher than parallel and 1 o'clock would be only 30 degrees from straight up.

Re: Implant Angle
That is a question that concerns me as well. With very good erection which happens less and less often, my penis points straight up.
Describing it in another way when I stand up it points to my chin.
Has anyone have the same angle with implant? Is it possible at all?
