Growing Concern Post-Procedure

UPDATE!!!

Once again, I open by thanking all my Brothers for your input and compassion.

I saw my surgeon this morning as scheduled. He did a thorough exam - - and fully inflated and deflated my implant. The device worked as is should - and that gives me peace of mind.

He opined that my high A1C is, most likely, the "flat tire" on the bus towards recovery. To be fair to the doctor, we had discussed this possibility upfront. At no time did he consider me an abnormally high risk. If he had, he never would have operated.

His guidance was to continue to forbear from trying to inflate until the pain has eased. I will continue on Ibuprofen, etc.

One last - and salient - fact. For most of the year, I reside in southern New Jersey. The surgery was done in Wellington, FL during our annual snowbird escape from winter. Dr. Becker spoke with me personally. Given the unknown transportation shutdowns, he cleared his schedule so I could be his first patient today. I flew down from Atlantic City to West Palm Beach and am sitting in the airport now ( a ghost town) waiting for the homebound fight.

Dr. Edward Becker of Palm Beach Urology is tops in my book. A stand-up guy in all respects.
