Anyway, a most positive outcome from an implant standpoint. But now that I am 110%, my wife has gone through menopause and has lost ALL intetest in sex . As a classic car owner, I now have two garage queens to polish.

I must say though the wife still looks teriffic. Dr Cramer even commented on her appearence in the vid of my surgery.

I'd suggest having your wife ask her doctor about Premarin cream and/or Estrogen replacement therapy. My wife is 63 and had a partial hysterectomy about 25 years ago and was prescribed the cream to rub into her nether regions a couple of times a week and she got over her dryness and overly sensitive tightness that way.

Received my AMS 700 Implant on January 9, 2020. No pain to speak about. My doctor had me heal for six weeks then returned to his office for exam and activation. Cleared for sex and since that time sex has been great. No more shots of trimix or anything else! I did lose some size but hopefully in time I will get that back. I have never had harder erections in my life. The sex gets better by the day. At 67 years of age it’s really a great life!

Received my Coloplast 22cm Titan on 30 January so am 50 days post op today. My recovery has gone extremely well but not without one small issue. First the good (great) news. Pain was minimal and was only taking Tylenol after day two and completely weened off by day 10. Was able to start cycling around day 22 even though my official appointment was at day 28. When I went to see the doc she began showing me how to find then inflate but I could not keep a secret from her and told her I had started cycling the previous week. She just smiled and said ok. She said I had to wait until 6 weeks for sex but like my early activation was able to try (successfully) a week sooner. So I am now two weeks since the first intercourse and can report we have been doing it about every 2-3 days and it continues to get better. I cycle 2 x day for ~30 minutes and pump until it becomes painful. I admit it is not fun but from everything I have read here a necessary evil to regain lost size ( 6 3/4 ") I was 6" in length (pubic bone pressed) and 5" girth after my first cycle. I am currently 6 1/4" and 5 1/2 so made some progress in s few short weeks. As for the not so good news I do have a couple of stitches that did not completely heal and went to. see my doc yesterday. It is still a bit swollen and oozing a little bit. She was not concerned but did prescribe an antibiotic. So all in all its not a bad experience and in fact I would say it is great and I am extremely happy with my result. One last note ....... last night after retiring to bed in the middle of the night after taking a leak my wife asked if I wanted sex. :o Of course I said YES and in 30 seconds of pumping ready to go. I can't e even remember the last time that happened. A bionic cock is a wonderful thing.

What parts of it can you feel inside your body? Obviously the pump in your nutsack but anything else?

erik,

It's good that you are seeing both the positive and negative comments. It's serious surgery with serious risks. But in the hands of a really good doc, an implant is a medical miracle. Not perfect - but a 95% solution to an otherwise unsolvable problem. Like I said when my PA asked how the implant felt: "It's different than before - but that was the whole idea!" In addition, the mental health benefits are tremendous. Simply put, the implant gives you your confidence back.

I had an uneventful surgery, minimal pain, a smooth recovery, no loss of size to speak of, and most importantly - the damn thing works! Choose your surgeon wisely, and your odds of success are very very high. And it's totally worth it.

eric,

You can feel the pump and the tubes in your penis. It doesn't feel bad, just different (a little stiffer than the "old" one). As long as you had a good install, there is no pain once you're healed up. After a few weeks you simply don't notice the difference anymore - you get used to the new feeling and it becomes completely normal.

And anyway who gives a damn - it works!

Yeah, I'd call myself a huge success case. Been thoroughly documented here.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6010&p=127573#p127573

I had some pretty bad pain for the first 1-2 weeks and wasn't very mobile. But once I was up and running, recovery went fast. I had sex after 3 weeks (would have been earlier if I had been in the same continent as my wife any sooner).
Never any issues with pain, difficulties to orgasm etc. Pump perfectly placed 1 cm higher than my balls, hidden behind them.
No issues deflating. Just pressing deflate button once and my dick goes down to a natural 5:30 hang.
Dick bigger now than ever in my life. Erect length increased from 16.5 cm to 17.75 cm. Flaccid length from 10 cm to 15 cm. Girth small increase from 14 cm to 14.4 cm.
No issues hiding my flaccid in clothes. Always use tight shorts, jeans, suit pants and no issue.
Glans getting firm and hard of blood.
No women understands I am implanted, but those who thoroughly touches my balls will feel the pump.
I was back to heavy lifting, squats & deadlifts etc, after a couple of months. Even though looking back at that, it was a stupid risk to take. Should have waited a bit longer.
Things keep getting better. Patience is key. Give things time. It is surprisingly how long time after surgery things still gradually improves.
Latest improvement is being able to pump my Titan to the absolute maximum, using all force I can generate with two hands and six fingers to squeeze in 60-70 pumps and achieving something that is unreal in hardness. But still feels good. A couple of years ago, anygthing beyond 30 pumps was uncomfortable. But still I thought that hardness was super hard.
Best of all is of course being able to have sex without worrying about the dick performing or not. Just allows me to be a completely different man in bed. Can focus on giving my partner the best experience possible. And enjoying every second of it.

But - then I think it is great that we get the horror stories here as well. I have said many times and keep saying how important it is to choose a great doc. There is so much published evidence that there is a very strong correlation between surgeons experience and quality of outcome. Also strong correlation with lower infection risk. Many people here refuse to accept that fact, but I think the horror stories helps to make people understand that things can really go to hell with this surgery. And it is important to do all in ones power to avoid being one of those horror stories.
Find a world class surgeon if possible. If not, find a really good one.

I've read wildly varying reports on the tubes actually so I'm not sure what to think. Tubing in general seems to be an issue with some folks. Also wondering if the other sexual partner can detect tubing when fully pumped?

It depends on the installation. My wife had to get past the "gross" factor of feeling the tubes in the side/base of my penis. She got past it after getting through about 7 orgasms in the first long session... :D
