I fine tuned my doseage all great about 2 hour towel bar. So last week i thought maybe one hour will do and droped from 42 units to 40 same then drop again to 38 units same ??????

Robert... My initial dosage the doctor recommended was 25 units of straight PGE-1. Did that for a while but experimented going higher and lower. Dropped down to a lower dosage of 18 units which works fine with my girlfriend for penetrative sex...but need to go back up to 25 units if I have "whiskey dick". If we only have time for oral or a hand job I can lower the dosage to 10 units. My advice would be to experiment on different dosages until you've found the sweet spot for what activity you choose.

I started at 25 units but had to move up over several weeks in 5 unit increments until 45 units was ideal. Over next month or so I was able to slowly reduce the dose until 15 units became effective. My uro explained that the the improved blood flow rejuvenated the tissue which allowed lower doses to be effective. Unfortunately, after three years I had to begin increasing the dose until even 100 units were ineffective.

I also experienced similar. I now use less than I initially did.
dtwarren's explanation sounds good and makes sense to me.

Being young I really hope foe this effect.

Aditionally to getti g oxygenates blood to the cavernous tissue pge1 itself has anti-fibrotic properties and might reverse some collagen build up in the cavernous bodies.

Pde5i do this as well but working through another pathway.

Thus I am taking 20mg tadalafil daily.

Being 26 years old and using 10mcg of alprostadil right now I have some hope to maybe be able to rely on oral therapy only in the future.
