I just turned 39 years old and I'm very healthy. I'm a powerlifter and I have a natural testosterone of around 850 mg/dl (as of less than 3 months ago).

Its also important to note that I watch tons of porn and during porn my penis will get erect but I noticed back in 2007-2008, my arousal response went down so I started to buy those "gas station pills" which are pills that are sold behind the counter at the gas station with basically viagra in them. Many of the rhino brands became popular back then. Anyway that held me down for some years then in around 2011 time frame I got a hold of the real stuff. I started to take Viagra, Cialis, and later Levitra. I was an animal and my sex life couldn't have been better for a swoll up late 20's and early 30's dude. Now fast forward, I noticed that about 3 years ago they all slowly stopped working to now I ha e absolutely no response to the 3 pills at all. Every blue moon they seem to work but I don't know which one is working for me. Let me explain: if a know I'm gonna get some that night I'll take 1 or 2 slow release daily Cialis pills and let that simmer all day..... Then about an hour before she comes over I'll take a Levitra, a Viagra, and about 10 mins before she arrives I'll take some fast acting gel Kamagra (same as Viagra) that my buddy bought for me when he was in Thailand. There is a 30% chance that it will work.....so I have to stall and perform oral until HOPEFULLY it kicks in. Every now and then I'll relax and my penis will get erect and I can do the deed.

Again, my penis does get erect for porn so I'm assuming this has to be psychological. I did see my "men's health doctor" who prescribed me the pills and told him everything and even he said that with all of those drugs in my system simultaneously, I should have had a crazy boner regardless. It makes me thing that even if I had anxiety at the time of intercourse or even if I wasn't crazy aroused, the amount of ED drugs in my system at that time should have gave me a crazy boner regardless.

I'm sure the porn has something to do with it but it wasn't a problem before so why would it all of a sudden be a problem now? Maybe my brain is fried and my dopamine receptors are done. I don't know. I know I need to get off the porn regardless and I really need bad help with that. I just want my boners back. Please help!

Porn has nothing to do with it. If your dick works the way it should all the porn in the world won't change anything. The bad news is the pills have stopped working and now you have issues. I can remember when viagra first came out I could bite off a little tiny chunk and 10 minutes later get a boner just staring at a wall. Every single time and that lasted for about 10 years. Sexual stimulation did not matter at all it was an automatic response. Those days are long gone. If you can't get it up to fuck a girl without meds that's called erectile dysfunction. It probably started around the "gas station" days but has gotten worse to the point that even prescribed meds don't work. It happens. You're right about at the age it really starts for a lot of guys. The good news is you can get a penis implant and go back to fucking whenever you want for as long as you want as much as you want. You can also try injecting trimix into your dick with a needle before sex to see if you can get a boner that way. Try that first before getting an implant though.

By the way my test is always around 1200. Testosterone for me does nothing for ED.

Not too young at all. Last time I checked there is no age where it is "ok" or acceptable to have ED and get an implant. There are many men on this forum much younger with implants.

Im between a rock and a hard place. First of all my dick works totally fine WITH PORN so I do think it has something to do with my head. Also there are times the pills do work and work damn good but that's like 30% of the time. There are various types of ED and it's not just mental. There is psychological ED as well. Someone above said that I need to see a specialist. I'm new to this so do I need to see a Uroligist?

To young for an implant if you have not tried injections. Sounds like your problem is between your ears. Need to see a specialist.

First off " there is nothing that is better than a blood filled dick" pills or injections included. A urologist is a surgeon that looks for mechanical problems that could cause ED. That includes venous leakage. You don't leak back with porn,, so?? There are urologists that specialize in ED and they are more knowledgeable of all the different things to explore. They are not your common urologist and are usually a little expensive. Problem there is many insurances do not cover ED unless you have a physical problem. Hopes this helps.

What he/she will more than likely do is run some tests to see if there are any PHYSICAL issues with your junk (i.e., peyronies, venous leakage, plaque buildup, etc.). Basically any blood flow/vascular issues. If everything looks normal and you are still having issues even with PDE5 inhibitors (Cialis, Viagra, etc.) then you'll probably get the Trimix conversation (injections).

A urologist will not be much help in terms of psychological or mental issues such as performance anxiety or whatever.

ED is a tricky thing. There can be no sign of any physical problems and you can still have issues. The brain is very powerful and can definitely have an impact on erection frequency and quality but there is also something to be said about getting older. ED can just happen. Sometimes slowly, sometimes seemingly overnight, with no clear reason why.

It's important to note that Viagra and Cialis can and do lose their effectiveness over time.

I know what you mean about the porn thing it’s the same with me. Sometimes I won’t get a hard on for a week or and then I start thinking I need an implant or something and then I’ll watch porn and I’m like no I’m good. Porn is the ultimate litmus test as far as I’m concerned. When the day comes that I can’t get it up and keep it up watching porn that’s the day I get an implant.

Also with me I’ve been divorced for a couple of years and when I met my ex I could get a boner just looking at her ass in a pair of jeans and could also have sex on demand. Plus she was always very vocal about how much she loved my dick the entire time. That helped for sure lol.
