HELP FOR PARTNERS OF MEN WITH ED

I consider the interpersonal dynamics in his relationship with sexual partners (and even non-sexual partners/friends/coworkers etc) of high importance to a man with E.D.

Primary importance of course is the actual erectile function. That is the primary effect of E.D. But the secondary or follow-on effects to the primary can be worse that the primary (or may mitigate the primary into irrelevance).

Secondary to that is the effect E.D. has on a man's self-image (and his efforts to mitigate or adjust to that effect).

Tied for second place is how the sexual partner(s) react to both a man's E.D. (the physical) and his inner responses (the emotional and psychological) to E.D. (e.g. if a man withdraws from intimacy, emotional or physical, it inevitably affects his partner)

How many marriages have failed because of the secondary effects of E.D.? Who has even counted?

I stumbled across this web site which IMO would be helpful to both men and their sexual partners/wives in understanding how E.D. affects the dynamics of their relationships

Does the above post warrant being saved in the "Documents Worth Reading" collection?

Excellent thread! Partners play an essential role in the treatment and most women have no idea how to deal with this. Patience and information are essential. And no, talking doesn't always help: some men may find it humiliating, there are several techniques and more effective ways to help your partner with ED.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
