I had the procedure in March 2020. Didn’t help me that much. It’s no big deal. I was over it in two days. Feel free to ask questions if you like.

Re: Urolift procedure
I had one a year and a half ago. If you do a search, you should find a string of posts about urolifts here in FT. Mine worked great for two to three months, then gradually I returned to my previous condition and have been that way ever since. Luckily insurance covered most of it or I would have been mad at the cost/benefit ratio. My urologist warned me it doesn't work for everyone and he was right.
Married, 66 yrs old, ED for 22 yrs. On TriMix for 5 yrs. Live in the Adirondacks of NY. Would be a nudist if it weren't for the black flies and the short summers.

Re: Urolift procedure
Did absolutely nothing for me! Very painful! Thank god Medicare paid for it, I do not recommend! YMMV... Went to Flomax which worked big time but many side effects so quit that. Now on Prosta Genix with a 10% improvement.
I`m 75 and see 2 fave escorts every mo. have some ED but 100 mg of viagra 45 min before sex gets me one good session. If I forget my V, then can`t get it up. I`m on TRT .50 ml inject weekly and 50 units HCG 2x per week. Changing to Tradifil (Generic Cialis) to see if that`s better. V- side effects annoying.
When all else fails will prolly try Trimix. Still got game, not ready to throw in the towel.

I was looking into the Urolift procedure last year (had already tried the usual meds...hated the side effects) but my enlarged prostate size was beyond the 80 cc size limit. Went with the high power Greenlight laser treatment instead...excellent results, no retrograde ejaculation. It took a few months after the procedure to realize the full benefits...got the procedure at the end of April & by September my enlarged prostate/urinary symptoms had been resolved...like I'm working a urinary firehose now & maybe get up once a night (if that) to urinate...urgency has been brought completely under control...check w/ your urologist and check into the Greenlight procedure...yet another great product from Boston Scientific (maker of the AMS 700 LGX)!!
