My AMS 700 has been in since January 29th of this year. I am diabetic and my healing is painfully slow. I still cannot pump/inflate.

When my AMS700LGX is fully deflated I am able to stimulate my penis so it gets thicker and my glans engorges. In no way is it an erection, but I still am able to see and feel the effect of touch. There are 2 different nerve bundles that cause erection. One set fills the vessels inside your tunica's that gives your penis rigidity. Your implant is put inside the tunica's. A good surgeon will slide the implant into the tunica without doing to much damage to these vessels. In a few cases erection is still possible with an implant without inflating. (very few) The OTHER nerve bundle fills the glans and outer blood vessels of your penis. Those blood vessels are what most commonly expand with excitement causing a fuller erection. Then they go flat after you come. I am an expert on this because a hack removed ALL my nerves in a prostatectomy. I am alive but have a dead dick except for my implant. Research !!! if you ever get prostate cancer. A URO is a surgeon. He will think surgery is best. Explore other options such as Protons. Sorry , got off the subject. Cabin fever.

Geeze guys, I was saying engorgement for some time and nobody said 'boo'. I did not know if it was me or it was a figment of my imagination. Glad to know I am one of the lucky few...some good news for a change, lol.
I can say the engorgement is only for the initial arousal, but boy, it happened at the weirdest time for me, like when I was driving with not the slightest inclination of being turned on! It happened at the weirdest time, and when I was aroused, but it felt like I had to take the edge off. Either through whacking off, or just letting it die down (not sexually aroused).
