Howdy there!
Going for implants in May. Wondering how bad the pain is and how long I'll be laid up (bad pun sorry)
Thank you!

Re: Pain level
You may ask the surgeon how he will deal with the peyronies. Mine chose to keep me pumped up to 80-90 % for 4 weeks to straighten it out. Pain was terrible. Scale 1-10 it was a 15.Everyone is different in healing and pain. Dr never mentioned this before surgery. He of coarse would not give me pain meds.

Re: Pain level
I'm also from NH, but went to the best dr in NYC, I started cycling on the 3rd day. Every now and then I would take Tylenol with codeine & eventually just ibuprofen. At the beginning of the 2nd week I was going to the gym walking on the treadmill.
I also have PD & I was 70 degrees, most of the curve is gone. For the first 3 weeks I would take hot baths everyday for the swelling & bruises. Not all doctors want you to do this, my doctor does stitches & glue.
I am retired, so if I was working at a desk job, only problem I had was sitting down, not comfortable around the area of the perineum for a few weeks. (need a donut or curve pillow.
Good Luck - all guys heal differently!

Re: Pain level
I stayed overnight in a hospital overnight and the most uncomfortable part for me was removing the catheter and the drain. At no time during my recovery did I experience any real pain.
60 years old. MS and Severe ED 10+ years. Pills and injections never worked well. Implanted 5/16/2019 by Dr. Sadeghi. Titan 20cm + 2cm RTE.
Re: Pain level
My implant was Nov. 2019, so I'm 5+ months out and still have some discomfort. Sore along the incision and where the pump sits and some tenderness along my shaft. Guess I'm in the 3% who have issues, so don't judge by my experience. Me & drugs don't mix well, especially anti-biotics. Otherwise glad I did it but hope it never needs to be done again.
