Hi guys, yesterday day I posted and my post did not showed up, then I realized that my y subject I named PSA, and it seems like
I was jay jacking some one post.
I really want to replay about the post about PSA. Then I realized there are many guys with elevated PSA.
I am a prostate cancer survival for sixteen years.
I am a member of HEALLINGWELL prostate cancer forum, like I am member of this forum.
I have all this years together with many men around the world that I had gain a lot of knowledge about PROSTATE CANCER.
My fight with PC started when I was forty six years old and thank GOD today my PSA is<0.
I just want to tell you that our BIONIC DICK SURGERY will no raise your PSA level.
My advice is if your PROSTATE is normal side and your PSA is 4 or greater please see a UROLOGIST.
If your GLEASON SCORE IS 3+3 DO NOT DO SURGERY.

Even 3+4 don't do surgery if you like to have sex.

Thanks for the post G.. I had my prostate partially removed with Halop..at the time, I had a Gleason 3+4... was going to get traditional radiation treatment. but got a second opinion where I was going go with cyber knife instead...their pathologist changed my Gleason to 3+3 and suggested that I go with watch and wait. I'm looking to get an implant this year and have a concern about radiation treatment or cyberknife.I would appreciate feedback about treatment after getting an implant!

There are a few things that will spike the PSA a little. Prostate Massage for instance can cause a short term elevation in PSA but usually only a small jump and for a day or two. The biggest thing that affected *MY* PSA was a severe UTI that I caught in late May 2019 due to an incident with a Foley catheter and an improperly sanitized and reused collection bag with a defective anti-reflux valve that poured the bag contents back into my bladder. When I first tested in late June it was 7.0 and the (new) urologist was very concerned until I told him it was normally in the 0-1 range in past tests and that I had a screaming UTI only a month earlier. He confirmed that the UTI was likely the cause but wanted to retest (we kept forgetting to retest until my PCP did it in January this year as a routine test).

My PSA was 7.0 for a couple of months while I recovered from the UTI but by January this year it was back down to below 1.0 (it was 0.5 or 0.8, I believe).

An infection in the urinary tract CAN and WILL cause an elevated PSA as my urologist confirmed.
