Greetings everyone,
Here's my Mentor Alpha I three-piece inflatable penile implant that was implanted in 2005. The cylinders have a length of 22 cm and possible diameter up to 21 mm. Their actual diameter depends on what my own internal penis structure plus scar tissue from prior surgeries will allow so I really don't know how wide they get. The rear-tip extenders have a length 3 of cm. Total overall device length is 25 cm. The cylinders, RTEs and pump were placed through a penoscrotal incision while the 100 cc reservoir used a separate abdominal incision.
It takes me 15 pumps to become erect and 20 seems to be the limit. Bone-pressed erect length is 5.5 inches. Weight loss might add another half inch. Mid-shaft girth is 4.8 inches with slightly more at the base and less behind the glans. I'm satisfied being this size without the weight loss. Natural latent erections add more length and girth. How much more depends on my level of arousal and usually peaks during climax. I sometimes get a "morning erection" (tumescent not rigid) from them too.
The inflated cylinders have some flex-and-give to them. I don't get a "woody". However, intercourse is still possible. The left cylinder can't extend and its tip can be a problem during intercourse; it bruised her vagina during entry. Wearing a condom makes sure the left tip stays within the glans. the right tip is deep inside the glans near the urethra opening. Again, the condom helps with this too. Using plenty of lube makes for a more satisfying and less worrisome experience for both of us.
I've been thinking about a redo to correct the tips. I know one day I'll be forced to get one done because it's possible the tips might erode through the foreskin, urethra, or glans. If I do, I'm thinking a little less cylinder length (2-3 cm) might help fix this issue so long as the glans has proper support. For now, I'm focused on losing more weight, then I'll consider another surgery.
Best,

15 years? Congrats. I hope my Titan makes it that long.
TBH, I had to look this model up because I had no idea who made it...and I still don't, go figure! I know it is Titan, but had to read the paper several times to understand.
