At what girth should someone consider getting a titan

Postby NextStepImplant » Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:35 am

Wondering what you guys think. I have seen complaints from men with 5+ inches of girth complain about loosing girth with the lgx. At the same time I’ve heard members with 6 inches of girth who didn’t lose anything with a lgx.

There is more to it than just the diameter of the device. How much spongiousum tissue a man has and if it is responsive (engorges during arousal) or not. How much, if any, of the corpus cavernosum was removed or damaged during the implant surgery (this varies widely among surgeons and any one surgeon may make different decisions depending on what he/she finds after opening up the tunica).

This is very much a case-by-case issue.

Having said that, it is clear that the Titan does start out with capacity for a larger diameter. In my case, I don't think I lost girth (though I did not have the foresight to actually measure mine before implantation). But my cross-section went from fairly round to decidely oval, especially if I inflate the implant without arousal. When I get inflated AND aroused the cross-section is fuller, rounded out. But still not as round as I remember my erection before implant.

I hope my rambling is illuminating.

It is never not; I've been away from the forum for a while, and the first post I come onto, you're still here, you're still posting, you're still helping people.

You're a star.

Anyway, I have found that I am much wider than I am round, just the physics of the implant of course.

Using a ring gives me engorgement, that rounds things out well.

I would advise all chaps with an lgx, who have venous leak, to try this.

It's night and day.

Point of fact, it is my penis that is oval when inflated. Still is 5 years after implantation. A little rounder when the spongiosum engorges, but not as round as my natural erections I had when I was intact.

Titan advertises that their implants can expand up to 22mm ea and that’s 17% bigger than they are when not inflated. I was 5-3/4 at base and 5-1/2 mid to glans prior to surgery and now am 6” at base and 5-3/4 mid to glans. Although I feel like I was slightly undersized I’ve never felt pain or pressure in my glans when max pumping but I do get a lot of pressure and discomfort in girth thru out the shaft from mid to just behind the glans. I feel this is from the Titan implant stretching the tunica as much as it will allow. Look at the advertisement on the opening page of the forum… info is there
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

I have to be a little careful with this response.

Before I had mine installed I spoke to three implanters(2 in person, 1 on the phone) and they all said the same thing.
1. According to ALL of them, the Coloplast is best designed for "larger guys" ... the vast majority of average sized men are better suited for the AMX systems.
2.I was also informed the squeeze bulb has a better design and is preferred by the patients who have had both.
3. The AMS system will be Bluetooth enabled in less than 5 years.
The Coloplast will NOT have this feature(?)

Concur with this! My inflated erections are incredible when I use a cock ring, specifically the Eddie Giddy ring. Hot, veiny, shiny inflated head, has that sense of a full pressurized erection that the implant just doesn't really give me on its own.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

That's really interesting information, ty! I think I could add into it that if you are a guy who is looking to increase his length the AMS 700 LGX is a really good choice for that. I got back all my length for an already unreasonably long dick and added more too. They claim for a length expansion up to 25%, and I think that sounds about right from my experience.

But I can also confirm that if you're a guy wanting to maintain/gain girth Coloplast could definitely be better. It's not a huge deal for me cause I only went from ~5.7" to 5.5". I hear from unverified sources that 5.5" might seem to be about as big as AMS can go in girth.

I think technically if I cared deeply a Coloplast would probably have been a better choice for me now, since a super long dick but narrow one is kinda weird lol, but I didn't know about them. Just asked my urologist about implants and this happened. Regardless I'm perfectly happy with my AMS. My plan is I assume at some point in the future I'll be getting a new implant and there's medical options to increase girth. One in particular being a tunica expansion procedure (TEP) done during the implant surgery. I don't know that much about them yet but it's my assumption you pay a surgeon to do that and I could keep the 9"+ length and TEP would increase my girth, ideally to 6"+.
40. AMS 700 LGX, 21+3. Nov. 2, 2021. Idiot who abused alcohol for brain injury, abused viagra for implant.

Goal to prove implants increase dick size

Pre-op dick size: 8.75" x 5.7"

Current: 9-9.5" x 5.5"

Goal: 10+" x 6+"
