6 Weeks in but still not ready

Hello I am glad I found this board. Loaded with great information and a ton of experiences. I am a 57 year old patient that was implanted by Dr Perito in Miami 6 Weeks ago. What a great office great staff and his partner Dr Brennan is also extremely competent.

The healing process went well but I am still unable to fly the jet mainly due to pain. I have been cycling daily but at full inflation I am unable to hold for longer than a couple of minutes before needing to deflate due to pain in the glands and on the side walls at a level 8-10. I also have a constant low grade pain in the same areas that never goes away. At the flacid state I am always semi hard. I was wondering if anyone else has felt this 6 weeks in and how long it may take for the pain to subside. I have absolutely no signs of any infection. While I have a good result when erect I am ready to begin regular sex with my wife. I have a Titan One Touch 20cm with 1cm rear extension. Here are my issues six weeks in:

-Low grade pain when placid and intense pain when fully inflated. 20 pumps is max before pump is too hard to further depress
-Burning sensation when placid which intensifies when inflated mainly at the glands
-I never had Peronies but now have a 45 degree bend to the left when flacid. I am straight when inflated. (It feels like a bone separated on the right side of the base of my penis where the rear extension goes in. I am flush on the left base but the right base has a small bone protruding which appears to be causing my push to the left when flaccid. I feel like I am ready to run but the pain is holding me back. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

I wonder if what you refer to as "bones" at the base are really the rear tips and if you have RTE (Rear Tip Extenders), maybe the right side RTE became detached somehow from the rear tip.

Bring up these concerns to your doctor. You may need to have an in-person exam so the doctor can see exactly what you're seeing. Alternatively you can find another skilled surgeon in your area as I did, and schedule an appointment for a second opinion on your results.

I’m roughly a week behind you in healing. I’m working through the pain piece popping a few extra strength Tylenol 30 minutes before and getting into a hot bath when the pain becomes too much. Today was the worst as I’m beginning to get more of a fill and it’s stretching even further into the end of the penis. From what I’ve see. It should subside soon, and I’ve been told by Perito to start sex once it does.

As for the base piece, I assume you have Dr. P’s cell number. Text him the issue and see what he says. I’m messaging him whenever I get a question or something seems off. My implant goes firmly back into me and there’s no bone like profusion in the area so it could be an issue. I hope it goes well for you.

I’m 3 1/2 wks. Can only pump 10 times before pain becomes too much & can’t sustain a full 15 min. Just hurts too much. I’ve lost over an inch in length. Not sure about girth.

Dont know if this will make you feel better, but I am at eight months and can finally penetrate pain-free.
It was a long process and I was discouraged and regretting my choice.
But...things are finally falling into place. I'm convinced that It will take me a full year (oct 31)
to be fully recovered.

It was about 12 weeks before sex was pain free for me. At 2 years pumping to max is still painful.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and perspective. Seems like there is hope, it’s just going to take more time.

I am back to the Dr next week. In the meantime I will continue to cycle, axial flex and try to get my body more used to the implant. Thanks for all the input and the hope.

Yes it takes time to feel better, don't rush it. It took me almost 5 months to feel better, and close to 7 weeks before sex. The first time we had sex I hurt for 3 days afterwards. Think I spent more time in a hot bath than on the couch.
Now at close to 8 months out things are great. Very little discomfort, can inflate and deflate easily, and sex is great.

You are not alone.
I had first time sex at day 70 (10 weeks) after I was implanted.
Still, at 10 weeks, sex was not pain free.
After 6 months, when I reached my final length, sex became more comfortable.
Once you have pain free cycling for 30 minutes, sex will become pain free.
