One month post op and everything has been going great. Very little pain and discomfort. Only concern now is my infrapubic scar. Once the hair has grown in it will not be noticeable... Right now it feels really hard though, almost as if there is something there across the length of the scar. Just curious to see if anyone has experience this. Will it soften up? I've read a little about massaging scars will make them soft but I think its still to soon to do that. Anything would be appreciated, even experience with any scar.
Thanks.

I have seen few scar creams in medical stores.

I think that scar looks good, yes it definitely will soften up, but probably over several months. Gently massage it as soon as it has fully closed up, does help loosen scars.

I’m 4 wks post-op & my scar, too, is hard & red with some pain if I press on it. But it seems to be getting better. I’m hoping, like you, that the swelling goes down if for no other reason than it makes my length look shorter.

After my revision, I have 5 scars in my abdomen. One from my navel to top of my penis. Others are in different areas. I just do not worry about them. Scars are battle Mark's of life. Just not worrying about them.
Good luck. Life gives you scars. Some on your body. Some on your mind.

I have plenty of visible scars (colon cancer, gall bladder, hip replacement, hernia repairs) and I wear them proudly. This is the first one I've had like this, bit raised and hard and still a little painful if I press on it. I think it's just placement. Seeing the doc next week...
