Ray, I don't understand what that means? Pinch it around the pump, work the scrotum around the pump, to prevent atrophy? Is that another way of saying pump it up to prevent atrophy?

No, when you have surgery and they insert the pump into the scrotum the body will sometimes create scar tissue and the pump will stick to the wall of the scrotum. I used the wrong word when I said atrophy, I meant scar tissue. I was starting to have that right after surgery and the specialist told me to get the pump away from the wall of the scrotum because scar tissue will build around it and it will not float normally in the scrotum.

My dr with 30 yrs experience told me to not touch it for 4 weeks. As a Franktalk member, I specifically asked him about moving the pump around. He said leave it alone. At 4 weeks the pump was attached to my left nut. I have been working on getting it loose for 4 weeks now in the hot tub 3 times a day. Had to push down on the block and up on the testicle. The back side of the release button block had a testicle cord securely attached. OUCH! Had to squeeze it to deflate. Keep it moving. KEEP IT MOVING!

To accurately answer the question:
No I don’t cycle anymore because I can no longer inflate to discomfort level.
So like Merrix and others who have been implanted for more than 12 months, I now simply ‘live’ with my bionic dick and use it for its intended purpose.....unfettered and unlimited .........banging of my GF....... as much and as often as I can.

I don't think they meant that kind of "CYCLING". Cycling is what we do with an implant when we pump it up to maximum, hold it at that level for some time, then deflate it again.

Hmmm....its funny that this thread was brought back to life:).
As a newbie to the implant cycling world, reading from the beginning of the thread has highlighted some things I am going through.
When I cycle, its a pain to cycle, esp. when releasing. I do not look forward to cycling because there are things in my balls that make it painful if I don't do it right.
Pumping is the easier of the 2, and I do little pumps, but I really can't tell at this point that I pump up until it is painful because the bulb gets difficult to depress just after a few pumps.
FT and my Dr. say this will get easier with time, but cycling is not at the top of my list at this point, but I know I have to, go figure.
I also have to pull pump forward, then up, to raise it up, and wondered about the wear and tear on the implant.
So,my pumping exercises, then the raising exercises have done me in for a bit. I still do them, but this is something I have to get used to, and I think it will take a long while *for me*, because of my situation.
I have reached out to someone else, but help can only go so far.

Yes lots of info in this thread about cycling, something I was never aware of after my implant. But then the first few months I stayed so sore it was enough to inflate and have sex with the wife maybe every other week. The first few times I inflated I could not find the darn release button. Had to go back to doc 3 times, ugh. When I finally found the method to deflate things went better, but every time after inflating I would have a feeling like my shaft was sunburned for 2-3 days. That happened up until the 5th month, although the sensation did fade in intensity as time passed. So even if I knew about cycling I doubt I would/could have followed any sort of routine. Daily? No way, not even now 6 months post do I think I could inflate every day.

With me, I feel like something is caught between fingers and release valves, and I have to be careful because if I depress, it feels like I am putting my balls in a vice!
