Sliding technique to gain more length?
Sliding technique to gain more length?
Hello! I’m post OP and I’ve lost more than 2 inches in inflated state. I talked about this with the doctor who implanted me and he said me than there is a „sliding technique“ to get more length with an implant. All I know about that is that this would be a new operation for me. I can speak my doctor in 2 weeks again because he is on holidays now.Unfortunately I cant find that much on the forum about this technique. Does anyone know how this technique works and how the procedure is? Or are there maybe members who have experience with this?

I know a member in another board, that had this technique done. I think he had an implant too, in the process. There are major risks with this procedure, such as loosing your penis due to poor blood flow and in the end, he was not happy. Stating he didn't gained what he was supposed to.

This procedure has always worried me as well as intrigued me. It concerns me even more than a simple deglove and graft because, A: it is a full "OPEN PENIS" repair and B: it is separating the left & right erectile bodies and basically cutting the penis in half (one side distal and the other less distal) so it can be lengthened.
This is something that really troubles me to think about and I would worry that the results wouldn't be acceptable or that serious or even grave complications might arise. What then, a penectomy?
My nightmare scenario with this procedure is that I might go to sleep on the table with a 5"+ penis and hopes of a normal sex life to come and wake up with the reality of having had a penile amputation while I was under.

You were implanted by Dr. Eid, right? What were you stretched flaccid and injected erection length? In theory you should not have less than those two measurements, which were done by the doctor prior to the surgery.
Dr. Eid himself is suggesting this sliding technique? That's odd IMO.

To me, it looks a lot like a jaw surgery that my wife had. The jaw was cut half way thru then split length ways then turned & cut the rest of the way thru. Think of a big Z. Two screws were put thru the bone to hold it while the jaw bone healed back together.
If this is what they do & call it "sliding". There is no way that I'd even consider having it done. No way, no how.

Procedures like this are generally reserved for men with less than 7 cm erect or for men whose size is causing them absolutely detrimental thoughts or actions… this is extremely risky... I had a discussion with my girlfriend and our best friend… They both kind of said they would never even think anything of penis size if they can get their hand around it and both agreed normal is pretty much that with the head sticking out…… trust me, I feel like I’ve lost a lot of size since surgery… Over an inch, to be exact… both of them said it is still a completely normal size and nothing they would ever say anything about… anyway, my point is, don’t do anything drastic if you are within normal and if it isn’t really bothering you… Best of luck, brother! …
Implanted October 2019 Dr. Kramer lgx 18 cm +2 rear tips. Preop at 6.75 post op 5.25... awaiting revision… Implanted for possibility of having our first child.

I had this Surgery back in 2016
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMrCRgksOCM
I don't recommend it, as I saw very little length gain, was told he managed 1.5cm
Also the most painful surgery I've ever had, also have had the Nesbit and stage surgery on my penis first.
When I woke up the consultant asked why I had this surgery as there's a high risk of loss of blood to the head of the penis and then amputation of the head.
Not what you want to hear when you just woke up, the next day he walked passed and asked if I still had my penis.
I know he was joking on the second day but there is a fear that in a couple of years this operation comes back and bites me.
Four years later and my penis is about 7 inch's from about 6.5 before I had the surgery. Was always hard to get a true length because of ED issues.
If I fully inflate I do have some bulges, plus my girth go's from 6 at the base to about 5 near the head.
