Just back from Hospital
Re: Just back from Hospital
Hi... How much cost the surgery....
Re: Just back from Hospital
Without insurance it would have been $27,000. All I paid was my $300 deductible

I'd just like to put this in writing. I realize that many men come here to vent & learn because they're having problems with their implant. But it really twits the perspective of visitors or men that are early in the learning curve. This is great to hear about a success & easy recovery on the forum. It should help these men to understand the total picture. Congratulations are in order.

Thanks GT. I am here to help anyone who has had or is considering an implant. Like you said, the problems tend to get more attention than the easy recoveries, but they DO exist guys!

You are totally correct. But some quick viewers or new members have sounded like the extreme is the normal. Many people won't take the time to actually read a few pages of past posts. Not sure what the problem with a bit of reading is but it sure seems to be a disturbing trend.
Still, I am happy for you. Just like I'm sad for those with problems.

Thank you for info....
Re: Just back from Hospital
Well I'm guessing from reading the last few posts you're doing fine. Healing went easy with little pain?
Yes many guys do report an easy recovery with little to no pain, maybe some swelling for a few weeks. Some are having sex at week 6! My guess is not many of those guys post or return often because they are happy with their new tool and using it!
All I know is FT has been a world of information for me. Said it many times but sure wish I had found FT before doing the implant instead of 5 months after.

Things are doing well. I do have occasional slight pain, but nothing a few Tylenol doesn’t fix. I won’t fade off into the distance unless my thread does

Glad to see your progress. I have a question:
How long did it take to recover from the effects of anaesthesia? Was it a general anaesthesia?
