Had erection, urinated, lost erection

I had somewhat of an erection, had to urinated, and then I couldn't get another erection. Is there any special reason for this anyone knows about?

When I was much younger and got random erections during the day, I would go to a bathroom and urinate which would cause the erection to subside.

Purely a guess that your prostate gives you a boner when your bladder is full. Perhaps why we get morning wood

This is normal. The body, in its wisdom, like to make sex and peeing two separate activities.
